AT KIRRA POINT SURFING 4 & 5 JULY 2021 KIRRA BIG GROUND SWELL HITS THE WORLD FAMOUS RIGHT HAND POINT . Some of the best barrels this year went down on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 July , The sand bar had formed perfectly along the point with a freight train barrel section of about 200 meters , the swell hit early Sunday morning , and lasted for 2 -3 days with the maximum size on Sunday and Monday . There are heaps more barrels for another video if you didn't make the first cut we might still have your wave on the next edit . In the late 70's I surfed Kirra like that many times. Always was and will always be my favourite wave. Just awesome! Thanks for posting.

I was out there and got pumped on a drop decided to leave kirra for the better tube riders and went to green mount still got a great barrel there . What a epic day

Two surfs the morning MOTE was filmed. MP dragged me outta bed and we hit Kirra just as the sun rose. Glad he did. Great waves and I certainly remember that morning.🌊

Fuck me! The bloke caught on the inside at the 8 minute mark of this clip PADDLES out of the way of the bloke in the barrel! He didn't paddle into the way of the bloke in the barrel, throw his board into the way of the bloke in the barrel or dropped in. So there are some decent humans left on the Goldcoast.

From about 9.30am Sunday till dark and from 2pm till dark Monday . We had to work a paying job on today morning :( so missed out
