Get ready for an exhilarating adventure in the wild! Imagine waking up to the powerful roars of two male lions right near our camp. We wasted no time, quickly gathering ourselves and diving into the bush to witness the unfolding spectacle. Robyn was quick to locate the majestic duo, seated proudly on the edge of a vast clearing.
In the early hours, with the clock just striking 5:00 AM, we found ourselves still shaking off sleep while the lions rested with lowered heads or faced away from us, making it a challenge to discern their identity. Initially, we thought they might be the Ndzhenga Males, given our location. However, as they lifted their heads, it became clear that these were, indeed, the Plains Camp Males.
Their sudden appearance in the area was triggered by an event, driving them to assert dominance and claim their territory by chasing away any other lions in the vicinity. Days prior, the Ntsevu Breakaway Pride had been in the same area, leaving us to wonder if these males were on the chase-whether it was the Ntsevu Breakaway Pride, the Skorro Breakaway Male, or maybe even the Ndzhenga Males.
As they settled down, a massive elephant bull entered the scene, prompting the lions to rise and move a few hundred meters down the trail before briefly settling again. Before we knew it, they embarked on a territorial patrol, navigating the breathtaking Ximpalapala Crest-a region known for offering the most stunning views on the property.

It will indeed be a serious fight if they were to meet up. However, having seen both these coalitions in person, the Plains Camp Males are bigger and so probably would come off better.
Thanks for, some great viewing. These boys look very healthy and impressive. It's gona be very interesting, to see the dynamics unfold. Can't wait for the next episode episode in this, daily drama. 😅😅

Both of these coalitions are very powerful but I hope they will stay away from each other since I love them all ❤
Magnificent lions!
PCM currently control 3 prides and a lot of cubs. I hope they dont abandon them. The only pride worth taking would be Kambula and I don’t want to see them or Ndzenghas get hurt or worse

Thank you so much. The Kambula Pride or as we also call them the Ntsevu Pride are still around and doing well. The Skorro Breakaway Male has also been around.

Very exciting! these 2 PCamp Males are fascinating n apparently no j'oke males; 💥 so is the Nhzengas- Black Dam ..no huge fights, no breaking of spines - live n let live? 😛 hopefully they all thrive. u mentioned Skorro- used to be 2 handsome ones- did 1 disappear? died? they were such great guardians. thanks... 🦁🦁🦁🦁

We have only ever seen the Skorro Breakaway Male by himself. I am not sure if there was another male with him but we have not seen him.

Reminds me of ginger Matimba.. but i think hairy belly in his prime is longer and bigger than any of the pcm, but this duo is still probably have some remaining growth in them. wonder how old are the pcm cause they look like 5-6 years old?

@@IceFrost-cj8mqacredito que os ndzenga já vão ter 8 anos de idade, os pcm estão com 6 anos eles são jovens e ainda vão crescer mais um pouco e de fato acho que são a coalizao mais forte em sabi sand atualmente

You are perfectly safe in an open vehicle, as long as you remain seated and still while the animals are near.
Thrse guys need to go back and take care of their 3 prides they just left behind.

Os pcm são uma coalizao bem agressiva e eles estão muito bem fisicamente e estão crescendo com 6 anos eles podem crescer um pouco mais suas jubas como pode vê são douradas a maior parte que dizer que ainda não estão completamente crescido vão escurecer ainda e ficaram mais dominantes ainda, e uma batalha aí com ndzenga eles não perderia nada se não ganhar eles tem 3 bando no oeste todos com filhotes nenhuma ameaça por lá mais não vejo ninguém vencendo os pcm por um bom tempo
