We are already scheduled to do a 5 year inspection on this system. At that point I will get a better view of the internal condition of the pipes. However, I see a full system flush being recommended. Thanks for watching.

Good job on the videos. I like to watch them because they are so helpful and full of knowledge on how to service all these systems. I finally passed my last exam for inspections. I’m ready to do all types of inspections and learn more.

Love the videos man! Been in the trade as a service tech for 3 years this upcoming April. Planning on taking my NFPA 25 level 2 test in a few weeks.

Unless I missed you saying, but what caused it to initially trip that night?

Someone opened the inspectors test valve. In the first video I walk up and find the ITV open, but no water coming out.

What is it with horse barns and pipes being plugged. I used to service Hawthorne race track in Cicero. All dry systems in the stables. And almost all have major blocks from the same looking material

I don’t think I’ve ever had to work on a Viking accelerator. They always seem to setup without any trouble. I’ve rebuilt many Reliable B1 (most common accelerator around my area). The rebuild kit for the Tyco ACC1 is about as much as a new accelerator so I usually replace them. Tyco ACC1 is complete garbage.

Hi I got a question maybe you can answer as you know anti freeze is frowned upon in newi stallion and instead the advice given is dry pipe my question to you is I. Know a hose can be attached to a sprinkler system I was wondering do you know if it's ever been done to connect a fire hose to a dry pipe sprinkler or pre action riser?

Yes, some standpipes are supplied by a dry pipe valve.

@@Fredengle Sorry, can’t help you there. I am a sprinkler fitter and we don’t do alarm work.
