I'd definitely add that simplicity is king. Variaty is the spice of life but 4 different cloth colours and 12 skin tones on top of a complicated quartered armour scheme is like pouring arse blaster into your morning brew instead of milk.

The makeup brush is really such a good tip that not enough people know about! When I got started mini painting being able to use my old brushes for dry brushing and terrain applications was such a good money saver and they're just as good as buying some overpriced paintbrush.

100 per cent I don't think I'll ever buy a specific brybrush, which seems like a bit of a waste of money. Love make up Brushes for it just perfect and you can get a set for 10quid

Love how you still manage to focus on your hand 🤣 and the tips are quite good as well!

Looks Ace! Ive got a vintage metal mounted gandalf the white, i will defo be trying some of these techniques out! I havnt got any contrast medium, but i want to give a go.
