This is a Folio Society 'Home Run' and an inspired choice to celebrate their 75th anniversary. It is a modern fable with universal appeal and the FS design pays homage to the original German edition with exceptional illustrations by German artist and fine press book publisher Roswitha Quadflieg of the Raamin Presse. This is a "must have" for one's library.
superb edition
It costs a flat rate of $60 CAD to ship Folio books to Canada, so it makes sense for me to purchase several books at once whenever I order. Since I was buying a book for a friend, I decided to get one for myself. Initially I was thinking of Dracula, but now I'm leaning towards The Neverending Story, and I think your unboxing has solidified that decision. Such a gorgeous edition. Love how they've evoked the story's description of the Neverending Story in the cover's design, particularly with the silk binding. I've only ever watched the movie, so it's exciting to hear that the book offers a very different experience. Thanks for making these videos of your collection!

I wanted to get one, but I couldn't. Financially speaking, I couldn't and most definitely can't now as re-sellers will no doubt sell it more expensive. Here's hoping they make more.

The website says they have 112 left as of now. I don't know how many they printed altogether. Hopefully I'll eventually have most of my collection up on KZread. It will never be complete though as it is always growing and changing.
