@@belfastroamer The closest airport is Santorini mate get the ferry from there takes an hour or so. 😁 This will be the reverse of how me and Kit got there we island hopped down to the South Cyclades starting in Athens and Ended in Santorini. 👍🏽Will definitely be back in Folegandros for sure the next video is even better! 🇬🇷🙏

My partner and I are off to Sifnos and Folegandros in Sept, and have to say we have thoroughly enjoyed your informative yet casual approach to the videos & islands, we’re very envious of your Greek (we both try very hard, but it’s so complicated to learn!) Hello Jenny, Amazing that sounds great both islands are out of this world beautiful for different reasons. Sifnos has some of the best Beaches I have ever seen and Folegandros landscape is out of the world unique. Yes Greek is a very difficult language but practise makes perfect, I want to be fluent one day but I still have a long way to go. 😅 Thank you very much for watching and I appreciate the support Jenny. 😁 I have lots more Greek island Content on the way and planned for the future so make sure you are subscribed!

Love your content Paal. I’m always visting the Greekl islands every year, so to see Folegandros, where we’re going this Summer was immense. Great mix between food, people and sights exactly what I want. Don’t give up Geeze. Oh and your Greek is impressive. Any advice?

I am self taught as I wanted to be able to speak the language of my heritage however I think the best way to improve is have real conversations with locals to practise, I still have a way to go but hoping to be fluent in the future.. appreciate the support my friend! 😁

@@jackisonthemap I totally agree with trying your best to use the language with the locals. They never judge and are only appreciative. We were in Sifnos & Serifos last year, Schinoussa, Naxos and Koufoniisia the year before, and the year before that and I think the year before that too. Next year I want to fly to Samos then hit all the tiny Islands until we fly out of Kos a month or two later. I’m really looking forward to the next vid. A huge thanks for the reply too. Where to this year? Big respect Pal.

@@Busstarvo Exactly mate doesn't matter what country I visit I always try to pick up the basics, please/thank you etc manners cost nothing! The Small Cyclades are on my list.. Sifnos is amazing best beaches. Sounds like an amazing plan my friend! I have got a lot planned this year.. First trip of the year next week flying out to Poland and expect more Greek content this summer. 🇬🇷👀

You can see the local people really appreciate you saying a few Greek sentences well done Very good calm, interesting and informative video. Where are you off to next?

Thank you very much Julie I am glad you enjoyed the video. I am currently uploading videos from my Trip to Slovakia however expect content from Romania, Poland and Serbia and I am back in Greece in a few weeks and late summer so lots of Greek content on the way. 😁

I have just looked and it is around 10 degrees. The smaller Greek islands are very quiet and most places close in the winter time. A lot of the locals go to the mainland!

Of course you can. The direct English translation doesn’t really make sense as in English my tattoo reads “God is Faithful” meaning Faithful to God. 😊
