Fold Your Samsung Galaxy Fold Properly!!
Ғылым және технология
A little quick public service announcement on how to fold your galaxy fold properly. It's a great phone but its still a folding display and even though it's become much more durable it's still fragile compared to a normal phone!

Mine delivers in two days. If I have to fold it a certain way to keep from breaking it....then I already regret buying it. I use my phones for roughly 4 years. Take care of them and they last. But folding a folding phone a specific way is stupid.

Best closing advice put both thumbs at the bottom of the frame like you closing a cover book and close from outside I never touch the screen when closing I'm scared to scratch or crack the screen protector then that leads to the main screen issuse if you don't fix quick. So always close the device from the outter frame never push on the screen.
PSA from someone who's actually daily-ed a Z Fold for the past 3 years - don't press from the middle, bottom or top either. That actually puts pressure on the screen protector and it always begins to lift from the middle top or bottom before traveling all the way across - a lifted, bubbled, screen protector, if left on, eventually increases pressure on the fold in the middle which leads to cracking he screen itself. To keep your screen protector safe as long as possible, bend the phone slightly and close from the sides.
That's what happened to my fold 3, the next time I opened it there were lines and a big black dig in the middle. I was so sad.
Can you link the wallpapper please
Imagine having to deal with shit like this for a 1800$ dollar phone, samsung is worse than apple
@sabagecabage7828
3 ай бұрын
.... don't take everything so serious. The phones incredible. And you close it however you want. And deal with what? It's a non issue lol. While I'll agree iphones are horrible at the moment. There's nothing either company does wrong that you wouldn't expect them to do anyways. And cost is subjective. No phone is cheap. This one happens to be more advanced in it form factor. So it's more expensive. You can make it cheaper. But that's only going to hurt the company when people like you buy their devices and complain non stop till you get a refund... only issue the phone has is Internet connectivity, and there's nothing samsung can do to fix that. If you can't afford it that's fine. But you don't gotta cry online about it lol
I push on the borh sides of the display with my thumbs. Never once scratched it that way.
I sometimes do this and the screen is fine. These folding displays are durable enough to handle a fingernail. Thnxs for the tip

@chrisbarclay4852 about 6 months n i still love it. It is great if u like to do multiple things at once. Now i cant see living without it, or going to a regular phone. It's worth the price in my opinion. One downside is that the cases that are specifically made for it, tend not to last long. As the front case tends to break at the side because it is so thin. Im on my second samsung case (which is 90 dollars). Its also wonderful to take pictures too, as it can act as its own stand. N when open, u can actually see the selfie before u take it on one side of the phone.
Can u tell me how much does it cost to replace the inner screen it's either scratched down the middle or cracked I live in canada , montreal exact so in canadian if it's possible. Thanks
To be honest I often do this anyway because I’ll often wipe the fingerprints off the inner screen before folding it so I don’t touch the screen when folding it for that reason too… 😂

Hey! Thanks for the tip! Where did hou buy your case by the way?
How do you keep it from the factory screen protector from peeling up and causing the black line of death? cause iv had 2 die from this.
wow thank you sir i was folding from middle of display 😢 my mom gave me on my birthday ❤
I did love it from zfold 3 to 4 but I just got hit with the black screen of death. Front works but inside will not turn on. On to the next.. S24 ultra
cant this just crack your screen more easily
And how to open a fold without a case? It just keeps slipping. Also a lot of pressure has to be put on the hinge when trying to open a fold that doesn't have a case
the fact that you even have to think about this just means foldables are still half baked products.
How do you precent dust and sand from insise your pocket from getting inside when its folded and scratching
Thanks for the video. Have you had any concerns with the fold yet?
Do these phones have screen protectors? And if they do, what about their crease?
No that's a wonderful tip. Thank you
What if you have no nails because you bite them?
Good tip, thank you
1 day in and ive already been doing it wrong 😅
Really it's more like you can close it from anywhere, just don't lead with your fingernails. I tend to push dead in the middle of both display halves because I feel like it distributes force better, but I very deliberately use the pads of my fingers and not the tips.
I have big hands, so i just hold it with 1 hand and push forward from the bottom.
bruh that increases the risk of screen damage even more
Very useful .... I messed around in developer settings and changed the dpi can anyone tell me what the stock dpi is so I Can go back
Or just close it like a book like they clearly intended. Have we reached a point in society that we forgot how books work? Lmao

Whydo I have to push the screen?
