Chuck, you could also cut a piece of paper the same size as the foil. Connect the paper to the foil spool with a piece of tape and the other side of the paper tape to the take up spool. Now you can start at the end of the foil spool. I extra pieces laying around.

I was looking for stamps like this not 15 minutes before this video

I ordered one of these types of machines and got it and it really good price. It needs new cord is all. Hopefully. Also I've been looking for antique embossing dies for hot stamping and can't find any on the internet. The only ones I have found are after 1930s. Anyone on here ever seen very old hot stamps? Thx😂

I have a bunch of suede that I’d like to use for projects. I have dark blue pelts and tanish color. I have probly 1,000 pounds . Any ideas on projects.

I know that it’s all relative to the usage, but how durable is the foil on say bracelets or wallets? How long before it wears off?

I have a similar machine from Tandy but I’m having trouble raise or lower the temp past 190. Has anyone experienced similar issues with this machine?

Chuck thank you for the presentation on the foil machine. I would really like to know how it works with Brahma web and biothane though. I have been thinking about getting one to label all my biothane products but I am nervous about how it will work.

@@jeffallen3382 Good idea about the machine shop. I have a cnc, but I'm not sure if it's accurate enough for something that small. I emailed a few stamp makers, but haven't heard back.

I would have liked a close up of the results to see what they actually look like you seem to expect us to just know what they are supposed to look like well I have no idea what a hot stamp looks like I have an idea but isn’t the hole point of this video is to show us the results well you missed that step

I really want one of these machines, but I want to be able to insert custom stamps such as my logo. Is there an adapter that would allow me to do that?

I’ve seen some little adapted that screws into your logo then slides in that carriage

Hi Dale, We are looking into an adapter. You can order custom stamps from Stamp Yours that fit our machine - they have our specs and can do anything from logo stamps to custom letters.

It would probably be something like this Aamstamp pencil accessory that attaches to a gauge bar, like this: www.aamstamp.com/att%20pencil.htm When it comes to stamping pencils, there aren't a lot of great machines at this price point--under $1,000. A lot of us are using the ZoneSun ZS 100-B machine, which is very similar to yours in shape. BUT, your machine is constructed from fewer parts, which means it will be far more stable. The biggest challenge we face is creating our own pencil jigs for these machines. We have a Facebook group just for pencil stampers that's growing really fast.
