But a timing discrepancy reversed the decision and gave Ducati and Fogarty success in Italy! 💥

The guy was a legend on a race bike
This race is a great example of why Honda brought us the RC51/SP1 the next season.
Ahh the old glory days of wsbk, can't really say the same now

I remember watching that race 🙂 ...No more Monza races 😞 No more Hockenheim races (the high speed circuit) 😞 No Silverstone races 😞 WSBK used to be more fun.

Shame they’ve used this commentary and not the Sky Sports it was so much more exciting with Huewen and Ryder.

Back in the day wsbk made Grand Prix 500cc look tame
That's crazy seeing a marshall standing trackside with the flag. So dangerous! Plus there was a serious track limits violation by Foggy coming out of the Parabolica!

This isn't F1. These guys use every piece of asphalt available and that's just how it is, or was back then. The Golden Age of roadracing was a great time to be a fan.

No electronics, no suit airbags... pure rubber vs asphalt.
I bought all the DVD Collection of these great years in WSB.....Very dissapointed as all the great commentary has gone by Keith and Julian....replaced by post race commentary and it's almost unwatchable....such a shame.
