i’m a little late on this video but i just got these headlights and i’m needing some new bulbs. How good is the light output with these bulbs because the lights that are on them now have really bad output. And also do they directly fit these vland headlights? thanks!

​@Orlando Mendoza if their led its just more power. HALO bulbs use 2 filaments sometimes or they use 2 bulbs. I have HIDs that are brighter then the highbeams so that that doesn't matter to me.

i just bought the same exact ones but i can’t figure out how to wire the dual beams did you end up using a ballast?

I had the strangest thing affecting my: Rear passenger parking light wouldn't come on but the brake light (same bulb) would. I ran a diagnostic using FORscan which said there was a ground fault on the same bulb. I tried everything I couls think of: Changing bulbs, changing fixture, giving up ... then I took off my headlight housing and found water inside the connector. Removed the headlight fixture and the rear passenger bulb comes back on! Now the DRL LED strip on the right headlight fixture is dead and given the dullness and peeling on the nearly ten year old fixtures, I'm getting VLAND fixtures. They're cheap enough that if they only last two years, I can get another one without being too annoyed. Now that I've sone the engine swap, big turbo, EWG, and four port aux fuel I'm ready for modding season again and now it's getting down to the aesthetic BS. 😂❤

Hey how do your demon eyes on your vlands work? I got them on my lancer and they are only visible with car off and parking lights on. I thought they work with drl

Personally I had no issues with fitment on any headlights for some reason

How you get rid of headlight malfunction error in speedometer? Do I need to disable afs to remove the error? LED headlight working fine.

I’ve never encountered that issue personally… I would recommend trying to get into contact with the company

Retrofits are the way to go 💯 hit up circuit demon. They have done plenty of headlights for the focus st/rs and they last forever. I've had mine for 3 years and zero problems

If you don't see them on there, then send them an email or phone call. They can build you a custom set of headlights per request. Just tell them what your looking for or ask for there opinion on design options. They've done many focus st headlights

What about the OEMassive headlights?

Are you able to link what head light bulbs your purchased along with the ballast if your using one? You said you have led ones and I can’t find any that fit mine but I want led. Thank you very much

Greeting from brazil! Was just about to buy the "auto dynasty" model from a local former owner for cheap price than the vland ones. thinking about something you said in the video, is this vland model really different between the ones selling in the official site and the ones selling on amazon/aliexpress(china site)? The Vland itself it´s a company from china as I google it. I bet it´s the same factory that produces the headlights. In my country it costs like 3000 bucks, so you save me one. If you have any issues with theese please releated it here. Thanks. Btw got the turn signals on my car and they look sick, go for it

Thanks for the comment! I’m not 100% sure about the aliexpress but I’ve heard that that’s the way they do it. I bought the autodynasty from Amazon and VLAND from the official site and I can tell a difference for sure but they are different lights so maybe vland is just better quality. Like I said in the video, I would recommend retrofitting to the stock headlight housing. You can do it for about $1000 USD and you’ll get reliable headlights with a warranty. Yeah it’s more expensive up front but In the end you could save money. Plus that way it’ll be totally custom!

Hey man! Just got my headlights in and I bought the Oxilam H7 LEDs 6500k, same ones as you did. I'm having a little trouble, how did you fit your bulbs in the headlight? Was there any shaving involved or did you just pop them right in? They won't fit at all :/

They just fit right in for me. It wasn’t the easiest thing in the world though. You have to like rotate the green thing and make it fit perfectly. Honestly I think one of my lights isn’t even clicked in properly but I just put it in and it works

The link you provided for the lights is that the official site? I see a bunch on a google search even one that looks just like it but with a different URL.

I thought the same thing but I’ve never had a problem. Somebody told me it’s only illegal if you’re using red and blue lights at the same time but I’m not entirely sure. If you look on their website it says it’s legal though apparently!

I believe they are completely different, there are actually some really cool options for the 2013 though that I’ve seen

On the vland website it says that they are for 2015-2017 Focus's. Do you know if they would work on a 2018 Focus ST?

I think I remember that happening, there was like an adapter piece that came with mine that you had to run through or something like that. Did you see if anything else came in the box that you didn’t recognize?

How long have you had the Vlands? Also any issues with bulb errors running the LEDs?

Hi, wondering if the VLANDS are still running strong? one of my headlights has a hole in and letting in moisture and need a new pair, mine are halogen or id be getting some Xenons

Did the dual led low and high beam bulb come with it or are you using the stock bulb?

I bought LED bulbs off of Amazon. I would just recommend getting the brightest ones you can find and they will work great. Mine aren’t even the top brightness and they work fine but I would recommend getting a really bright one because it is a little difficult to see.

i had a ebay catless dp think it was like $160, come to find out a year later it literally snapped in 2….

From what I’ve seen they seem to be pretty reliable, I’d say go for it. Buy from the website if you can just to make sure though because you might get better customer service. I’m just not a fan of them personally.

Bro where was this video when I was getting my headlights lmao I had the same problem with the first one you were talking about. The tint is currently falling off and the passenger don’t work unless you do it manually. The burning didn’t happen thankfully lol

So did you get the light with the bulbs or without from their website? $100 difference and I'm sure lights aren't that expensive. Which bulbs exactly you said Oxilam H7 LEDs 6500k I see yellow and clear so I'm confused?

No bulbs. Dont get the bulbs you can get high quality LED’s on Amazon and they’re super easy to install.
