Focus on Creating Systems Rather Than Setting Goals
Focusing on systems (habits, the process) rather than goals lately has helped me to just focus on the journey of achieving a goal rather than putting so much weight on the result.

The beauty of this approach is when you create systems that overlap so you can generate some real momentum.
This whole idea of systems makes a ton of sense especially when you mentioned your business. I took a small business class where the teacher said in order to build a business vs being self-employed you have to build a system that runs even if you remove yourself (assuming you have multiple employees)

Ooh that's brilliant. Having a team is a dream! So for now I'm just working on what I can implement!
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZread channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,743 subs and > 1k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Being healthy is not a goal. Its a way of life. Exercising and eating healthy is the system.
I love this idea of creating systems because this line of thinking leads us to an understanding of the importance of taking steps - not just having dreams! Also making those standard for each goal, takes away the mystery when it comes to different areas of success.

Wow. Amazing. I’ve never looked at it this way before.
Thank you for this video
Mindset is so important. Thanks for pointing that out.
Thank you for this. I will read Atomic Habits, The power of habitats is also great. I’m struggling to successfully write and maintain habits, SOP , systems im my business.
This was a great video! For a while now, I have had the goal of learning a language (Indonesian) but I have not made too much progress. With your tips, I will start implementing the systems of listening to it while I am driving/walking and practicing for an hour every day. I will also track my progress like you mentioned, I think that will really help me get more motivated! Thank you for the excellent advice as always :)

A beautiful young lady with wisdom. A rare find. Great Video.
Being motivated by the end goal is not reliable because in times where it gets a hard your end goal is not so clear
I love this! I made a video very similar to this. Atomic habits is a powerful book

You should check out Dr. Caroline Leaf’s book Switch on Your Brain. She talks a lot about “re-wiring” your brain. She is amazing!

You are stunningly beautiful. Thank you.
I'm curious about where you get your info. "Most people don't achieve their goal" That isn't the case in my circle of friends. Where are you getting your stats? Most people don't think that reaching their goal will make them happy. Maybe you need better people in your life. And, isn't building a system, just another goal? "I have a goal to build a system" these are just semantic. Same thing.
