JR4891--S also(as he almost always does)just clips the top left Simba cross branch with his carried branch, showing how skilled he is in controlling his flight path. But he still 'Ducks down' when J lands beside him---a remembered time from somewhere in his childhood upbringing .

Jackie and Shadow are the perfect team. I pray that this year will be kinder to them🙏

This pair doesn't really add fluff to their nest odd enough. Just sticks

I wonder if they will sit on the pinecone when they are nesting 😊

Finally I can tell them apart! Jackie has a little dark swish on her tail!

Do they have a brood patch yet, doesn’t look like it. Is it too early

Kinda been expecting an egg? Can't recall their schedule - last year was so weird for so many eagle pairs...if anyone knows please post...ty

I had to look at their past egg dates cuz I couldn't quite remember either. But typically Jackie laid her eggs late January to early February, and they hatched of course early March. The later the better with this nest since they always seem to get hit by really bad storms during incubation.

Aww, our beautiful Jackie and Shadow! ♥️ Hey guys, you think you have enough sticks already? How about bringing in some fluff. 😃 Between the weight of the sticks and the snow and the wind shaking that Ponderosa pine back and forth in the winter, I shutter to think what could occur. 🫣 I am however looking forward to some babies! I’ll never forget precious ♥️ Spirit ♥️! These two make precious babies!

As the originator of many good inventions and many good ideas in his time,--History has shown us That idea of our national symbol was one of thw less worthy to come out of his fertile mind. Imagine a Turkey on our Great Seal of the USA and on the back of our 1 dollar bill. Thanks Cali for posting. S still shows us his Athletic Flying Skills by flying up over the Simba branch with a branch for the nest. And J shows her special Guy some affectionate nibbling of his neck feathers--a favorite spot birds love to receive such welcome gestures. Finally, a Special Day to celebrate our Creator's part in making such beautiful creatures in this Natural World.
