I watched Jackie's grand entrance at the beginning at least five times and laughed so hard every time and the expression on Shadow's face when he sees her coming straight at him. Love these two.

The look on Shadow's face as Jackie came flying in right at him with that big stick - hilarious. I'm so glad he got out of her way. It looked like a blustery, probably very chilly, morning but it was also beautiful. Thanks for capturing the stick wrangling for us, Cali.

I do wish they would make a softer area in the middle for them when they’re incubating , but this is always how they’ve done it.

debra---S is always on the look out for Jackie when he sees her coming in. He almost always ducks down. I saw this event in real time. A total train wreck and both survived it. My guess is the wind got hold of her flight path and channeled her into Shadow. Normally, she lands on the other side of him(near the S branch), something he counts on , if he knows she is coming in with a branch or even without one. Thanks for Posting Cali.

These two make me laugh so much Eagles are my favorite. I’ve been watching them for years. They have their own personality and they’re like comedians in a way Lol so funny and they have no idea. The world is watching them I love these two so much. I hope you become mommy and daddy eagle soon.❤😂

i watch these two and other eagles, Royal Albatrose and nature in general, and I so wish human beings could work and live as cooperatively and accepting as nature. God gave us these great gifts and for humans we are simply destroying each other from the inside out..This is not what God wants for us. Carry on nature...you are doing it right.

My son and myself were listening to the commentator last night on how to tell the beautiful Bald Eagles apart . He said one has a flat head and one has round head and my son made the comment i don't care if one has a flat head or a V8 i still can't tell them apart l.ol . They sure are a joy to watch and I can hardly wait for my son to say let's watch the Bald Eagles . I turned to another channel and i found a few nests but one nest the commenter said had a llive animal and it would be disturbing to some viewers so i didn't view it because fish are okay but animals their death is disturbing for me and i cannot erase it from my mind ... But in the meantime my son and i will keep watching the handsome Shadow and beautiful Jackie build such a beautiful nest and work so hard at building it . Shadow and Jackie it is unbelievable how smart and clean they are and i didn't like the big fight they had and it is so soothing to hear them walking on the sticks . By the way one is bigger than the other and my son commented on the colour of their beautiful feathers and the feathers how beautiful with the circles.... if i said anything more about Shadow and Jackie I would run out of words . Thank you so much for your great photography work and you just made my day with all the beautiful pictures . I will be enjoying ever minute i see them on utube.

My immediate thought when Jackie arrived was...🎶 She came in like a wrecking ball 🎶 😅

I believe they said in another video that the fluff comes closer to mating season, December/ January.

The fluff comes in closer to egg laying. This nest sees a lot of snow, and with them bringing it in later it stays fresher, longer. They continue to bring in fresh fluff after the eggs are laid too.

This never has been a fluffy nest. It is more of a log cabin rustic nest. 😂

There are some really good videos on the SWFL nest from this year over the past 3 months of the two resident eagles there breaking the sticks off the trees. It's amazing and so acrobatic. Of course, they take them from the forest floor as well.

Poor Shadow always getting wacked with Jackie's sticks. Lol....but, it doesn't bother him at all. ❤❤

I think they need a bigger place. 🥴
