using the scissors to make that cut to create the groove so that the foam stays together better is what I needed. All my foam was falling off. Thanks so much!!!

Great pattern. I've tied them more like Dalhberg's floating minnow except with the foam discs they stick in pill bottles for shipping. The top and bottom third make nice humped back minnows. Couldn't find the popper hooks so I used Aberdeen or Carlisle. Lash the foam to the top of the of the hook then reverse tied everglow tubing over all. Lol, after coloring with sharpies I sealed with clear nail polish, the markers would bleed and after a while I could blend the colors. Orange tubing made great looking perch fry. I fished them with a sinking line too or like a Carolina rig when spinning. Great fun making and fishing. I really like your method too, sort of like a crease fly and less materials. Thanks for sharing the other products you used. How's the Titebond on gluing fingers? I always keep nail polish remover handy when using CA glues. Thanks again Chris, all the best to you!
