Well I'm not sure, but I have posted on Dong Leanings, I should, I'm going to, leave that alone. Anyway, I have posted on Song Meanings a few times my interpretations. They have changed over the years, and they just changed again. Could this song be about the ideology of our United States which leads to wickedness, which leads to atrocities which leads to Satan. Is this song about the Devil driving the mibds and hearts of American politics starting circa Vietnam?

I don't understand why people think he's saying Lion when he's saying LIAR every time. As a sign language interpreter I'm trained to lip read and it's 100% liar.
I actually love the direction Foals are going. We got a glimpse of this with Inhaler on Holy Fire and they do it so well. Can't wait for the album.

i recall this soundtrack being in a videogame but cant recall which
Foals are goals.
They put aside this techno experimental math sound of their first songs and bet on a more agressive sound loaded with more guitar riffs and in your face sound, yes its not like their first stuff but a band evolves and Foals is aging pretty fucking well, cant wait to hear more.
the most insane, brilliant, blood pumping song ever written and performed and filmed. the abrupt end to the chaos at the end of the video pulls you back to reality in the worst but best way. christ almighty.
My daughter got me into this band and I'm so glad she did. This has got to be one of the best songs I've ever heard!!!

i'm 55 and I'm digging it!
I love the earlier songs by Foals, so much nostalgia in that sound for me, I find there's not many bands that make this sort of indie dance music anymore, I did just find a song that gives me foals vibes, lonely gimmick - grumpy days, worth a listen, made me wanna dance which is what I want music to do, make me wanna move with the electricity feeling lol

This song is amazing! I heard it on iHeart radio. Have like Foals for awhile. The chorus just gets stuck in my head. Love this!! Can't stop playing it.
Foals, amazing as always, omg

One of best bands to ever come out of England
This is one of my favorite songs to drum to. Also, one of the first ones I learned, so it has a special place in my heart. The bridge is absolutely gorgeous 😍
Use headphones for this one. You get all of the little eccentricities
I couldn't stop listening to this song even if i wanted to.
Why is this so profoundly liberating? Again and again.
this song hits different
Seriously one of my best songs at the moment! Awesome to listen to just before you hit some single track on a mountain bike!
i first heard foals on the radio about a year ago and fell in love with 'mountain at my gates' and now i search them up only to find that every song i've listened to is really good and makes me feel some kind of emotion. antidotes is such a nice album and . . . you know what? i'm gonna say it. i think foals might be my favorite band.

When they blow up the house right? I thought that's where I heard it from lol I was trying to sound hound it but they were talking so much in the scene it couldn't recognize lol
Best song I've heard this year.
the range these guys have, they are so diverse in their sound. damn.
Massive show at Bogotá, loved every single second, every single beat. Foals is such an experience.
Comparandolo con canciones anteriores tiene un sonido más brusco, pero sigue manteniendo su esencia Foals es más ritmico, en realidad me encanta que sea un poco más progresivo, ahora a esperar el album ♥

Still their debut album was 1000 times better and more exciting
Kick ass song 🤟
You know how some songs just resonate with you, well this is one of them - awesome, really packs a punch.
This song shows you, it's not the lyrics that make a great song ("you're the apple of my eye"), it's the delivery. So intense!!Absolutely awesome.
Incredible energy in both the song and performance.
What!!!!!!!!! Did I just hear?????? My ears just lost their virginity to good music, IMG!!!!!! Guys, please keep it up!!!!
