About the Episode
Revel in an hour of modern rock with UK superstars Foals and Texas legend Alejandro Escovedo. Foals play tunes from their album What Went Down, while Texas bard Escovedo showcases Burn Something Beautiful, joined by R.E.M.'s Peter Buck and alt-rock luminaries.
About Austin City Limits
ACL offers viewers unparalleled access to featured acts in an intimate setting that provides a platform for artists to deliver inspired, memorable, full-length performances. The program is taped live before a concert audience from The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL is the longest-running music series in American television history and remains the only TV series to ever be awarded the National Medal of Arts. Since its inception, the groundbreaking music series has become an institution that's helped secure Austin's reputation as the Live Music Capital of the World. The historic KLRU Studio 6A, home to 36 years of ACL concerts, has been designated an official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark. In 2011, ACL moved to the new venue ACL Live at The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL received a rare institutional Peabody Award for excellence and outstanding achievement in 2012.
ACL is produced by KLRU-TV and funding is provided in part by Dell, the Austin Convention Center Department, Shiner Beers and HomeAway.com. Additional funding is provided by the Friends of Austin City Limits. Learn more about Austin City Limits, programming and history at acltv.com.

This song is something special, it really is. So much that I had to get the symbolism tattooed, brings hope and honesty. Major props to Foals.

Someone get Jimmy a decent guitar rig already. He's a good guitarist but he always sounds so thin and empty live.

Jazzmaster guitars are know to be very top heavy and bright even with overdrive. Some guitarists like it. Babyshambles guitarist had one and the treble hurts my ears. Prefer a bluesy fuzz sound myself

I disagree, I think it accentuates and compliments the lead vocals and guitar melody really well, and gives a lot of space for the bass to have some higher frequencies that are usually cut off, to the point i can hear the bass on my phone speakers even. It's pretty well produced to sound put together however you listen, and i can really appreciate that tbh

I seriously think this is the weakest song in the entire album, and that's coming from a DIE HARD foals fan...
