The one thing I remember from my childhood, hanging around my older ranching cousins, is they were ALWAYS fixing stuff. If it wasn't fences, it was roads and if it wasn't those it was tack or tractors. You don't ask. "What are we going to do today" it's "what do we have to fix today"?

Some will be brood mares and some will be sold as 2 year olds.

Another important book is "The climates of the United States" by Robert Ward 1925. The importance of this 100 year old book will be seen early on in the book.

Some of them do. They do not need a lot of brands. One brand used for identification is enough.

6:57 dear lord that cow looks scary!

My little quarter (146 cm) fell 3 times. Like he was drunk. I was out of my mind, I worried so much I thought I would need all kind if specialist's and what was it? THE FARRIER!! Skip has to wear horseshoes the first time in his life and he is 16 year's old. This young idiot made so many mistakes. I got an nice old guy and he immediately ripped the shoes off and put new one's on. Older people have more expierence and now I have to talk with this young man. Imagine somebody would have been on his back. He fell hard and was injured 3 times. If you cannot do everything yourself, it is a problem. That is why I want to come and learn from you. YOUR horses must have hufe's "of steel", they grow up the right way. Sorry for writing so much!!🙋‍♀️❤️❤️🇦🇹🐎
