I don’t see enough people mentioning that the bar on the timer also turns red with the icon during the up pose - the small details are even more meticulously done than it seems! This mod is absolutely amazing, from animations to song events, and the song itself is incredibly catchy! I can’t wait to see if this gets an update, and what’ll be in store! (Can’t help but wonder what happened to Natsuki…)

bit of trivia the entire icon along with the opponent's health was supposed to turn red, which is why the time bar also turns red. corth said the whole icon thing was too distracting though, so it was removed, BUT she never said anything about the time bar, so i just opted to keep it lmao

i like the detail that when she sings the up note even the icon's eyes change colour edit: dang i forgot to tell how good the melody of this song is good

My theory is that mexe is actually a skin walker who is searching for some souls to gain a real human form, but she cannot actually become a full copy of the person that she wants to become. Like she can imitate them at perfection expect that she would have a very distorted, Uncanny valley face and voice.

I think my favourite thing about MEXE’s design is it isn’t really scary, as it is uncanny. Something about it in comparison to Monika feels off. From the green tongue and tonsils, to the different mouth and general differences in personality thar can be pinpointed from simply her poses and the song’s general tone, everything feels off in this bootleg way that almost feels fake. It’s the simpler designs that are effective. This proves it.

I'd like something more fitting, bag of flesh could work actually, but as mask off I think more so her character doesn't really change its more she stops acting Nice is more fitting. I'd be a perfect,"depends on what you know this changes" where you could laugh at how ridicolus the Faker looks like, until you know why and their seemningly cheerful aspect turns into one of horror, of them not taking what they destroy seriously. They never changed, they decided not to have a morality. Which I agree as it makes sense for a twist villain, as their character wouldn't really change that much, as they always acted that way, just didn't have a Morality or acted like they did. So replacing them with a completely different one feels pushy, like you didn't have faith on the original, even though any character can be horrifying or wholesome depending on what they do.

This is next level fnf content, the vibe, the sprites, i Mean everything is perfect

What i like about this is that it doesn't focus on a macabre, Bloody style, But instead, The sheer unnerving look of this...THING, It isn't human, No way it is, Looks almost like some kind of animal or something. Even more creepy, There are like, 2 corpses in the room, And monika, And THE SONG, Are just cheerful, My guess? This thing didn't scrap the competition, It killed for slaughter, Or hunt, Then we have, Well, The fact that it appears to be trying and failing to mimic monika, And just comes off as unnerving and downright weird, (Still adorable, Though.) And the creature is really only picking up on a few things, Even those are just...Wrong. The size, The teeth, The nose, That smile, Again, Doesn't try to be frightening with lots of blood, Only a very unnerving, Creepy creature failing to seem human at all, Sorta like AI art, Just less...Broken.
