Funny thing in Solid's angry phase, you can see his Sonichu necklace with red eyes and an angry face. That's actually a refence to when he was doing commissions. If someone bought a color commission from him he would send a free necklace. But one dude was complaining that his was crappy and had a long wait time. So Solid compromised he send another one, but what he sent was a bloodshot eyes Sonichu necklace

Some details I like that don't seem to have been talked about. Chris is more rounded whereas Liquid is more squared and angled. Rounded characters are usually seen as friendly and are usually the protagonist, whereas sharper characters are usually the antagonsit, so this could be a nod to Chirs seeing himself as the protagonist or "hero" of this story whilst Liquid is seen as the "villain", you can also see it in their sonichu medalions with Chris' having a round head and Liquid's having this portrude from it. (not sure if I'm correct on this one or explained it good, just saw somewhere that the way a character is drawn can imply what the viewer is supossed to feel or think about said character) Chris' microphone and guitar are toy version to show that Chris has no real skill, whereas Liquid has a real mic and guitar because he's actually skilled. When Liquid does his solo and goes into super mode you can see Chris becoming nervous and scared, you can also see the Liquid posters in the background get red glowing eyes. When Chris goes into his final angered phase his Sonichu medalion also gets angry, likewise at the end when Chris lost his medalion gets sad.

The medallion becoming red is probably a nod to when Chris sent a sonichu medallion to a customer he didn’t like and decided to give it red angry eyes and the red eyes on liquids poster might be a reference to how liquid Chris was played by two twins one doing the singing and the other doing everything else

I like how (at least in the beginning) Liquid’s arrows are in harder combos than Solid’s.

Chris isn’t scary himself (creepy but not really scary) he’s more scary in how he’s a warning sign for how far people can fall into their own destructive void without a proper support system. He’s terrifying in that he’s the personification of all the internet’s (and by extension humanity’s) worst traits. There’s a lot of smart details that make reference to the real clash of CWCs in this mod but one I haven’t seen anyone mention is the little pause liquid takes at about 2:52. It reads to me like he already knows he’s won and is just taking a moment to bask in the impotent rage of Ian Brandon Anderson. That’s pretty spot on to their dynamic imo.

A neat detail for this mod Due to it being an in-person thing, it's taking place on a stage, and presumably this stage is Daddy Dearest's stage, based on how the floor and lights work. The curtains may be different, but those can change. So, in this FNF universe, Daddy Dearest helped make the Singstar Challenge a reality. Let that sink in.

Probably one of the best fnf mods honestly, the feel of this mod is exactly what 2000s newgrounds was!! All the cwc refs are glorious.

I'm seeing new things about this all the time, just noticed that when Solid Chris is angry at the end of the song his Sonichu medallion turns into the defaced "angry" version that Chris gave to Mr. Smith.

This mod had me laughing so fucking hard as I played it. It's just so amazing. I'm hoping that (along with battling more trolls) that a week or song based on the Chop Chop Master Onion's Rap Showdown contest becomes an actual thing cause tbh it's gonna be such a missed opportunity if there isn't.

The dynamic between Solid and Liquid Chris was perfect. The fact that there was someone that Chris portrayed himself to be was perfect, and even Liquid was the chillest guy ever. Absolutley Perfect

i genuinely love the fact that solid sounds like if a voice actor was a fart with the illusion of sounding like an actual voice while liquid actually sounds nice, rly fits in with the detail rhat liquid is supposed to be solid, but better

Liquid might've won but Solid had some parts that went pretty hard not gonna lie 0:59 1:10 and 1:23 all went pretty hard

For those locked out of the context loop, Chris Chan had a troll that claimed that he was the real Chris Chan, and as such, the imposter was dubbed Liquid Chris, and the real Chris was called Solid Chris. Liquid made videos imitating everything Chris did in the past, making Sonichu merchandise, including faking a coming out of the closet video, a feud with someone, and singing one of Solid Chris's songs. This latter one led to Liquid performing a song Solid did on a guitar hero guitar with an actual guitar, basically one-upping Chris every step of the way. In an attempt to get Liquid to leave him alone, Solid Chris created a musical challenge called the "SingStar Challenge". In the mod it's just this one song, but in real life, it was a 5 round challenge with them choosing a song to sing each time. The final round would have the two choose the song for the other to sing. No instruments were allowed, but a device playing the song in the background was allowed. There were also supposed to be 6 judges, with each person choosing 3 judges. The challenge was throughout the first week of August, with Solid Chris trying to stop Liquid at every chance, from saying how theme songs weren't allowed, censoring every instance of the word "dick" in the final song with the word "duck", trying to get Liquid to sing a 10-minute song (only for Liquid to soon post the full 10-minute video of him singing), and claiming he got the police involved. Basically, he was trying to bend the rules in ways that would benefit him. Liquid Chris won in a 4-2 vote. In a last-ditch effort to prove that he was the real deal, Solid Chris publically doxxed himself to invite others to come over to see for themselves. Liquid would than post a final video where he said that he proposed to his girlfriend and got a job in Redmond Washington in a game studio...But, there's more. Apparently Solid Chris tried to get close to Liquid Chris's friend Casey, with her trying to get Chris to better himself and fall in love with him, as Liquid came back after a hiatus and claimed he couldn't get to the job after Solid Chris kidnapped and drugged him. As soon as he came back, Casey returned to Liquid, and after Casey tricked Solid Chris into talking with her "father" (a friend disguised as him), Casey finally said she would be marrying Liquid, with Solid Chris finally giving up and giving them his blessing. You forgot to say that the guitar part was actually played by Liquid's brother, SimplySpoons. The singing part is legit tho. I can't believe somebody genuinely spent 10 minutes singing just to annoy Chris Chan. What a madlad. Also, Liquid is actually a good guy, and unlike many other trolls, he didn't just swear and insult but actually highlighted the victim's good parts

Alright, even if the meme is that Liquid’s better at everything, Solid’s still got plenty talent too. Hell, he was able to sing through his rage, and it DIDN’T sound like just screaming. And his guitar skills, even if it’s a Guitar Hero controller, are almost as good as Liquid’s. Idk, I might be reading too much into this, but it’s just what I think about the mod’s interpretation. Edit: for clarification, I’m talking about the mod’s iteration.

I love this. It captures the feel of the whole arc perfectly. I almost feel bad for the poor young FnF fans who are about to be exposed to some absolutely horrific stuff through this. Also the Kacey gremlin is kind of hot.

kasey’s design here has this weird mix between creepy and cute so i see where you come from.

I like how liquid chris stays calm and composed the entire time

In liquids solo if you look at the posters there glowing red eyes

There are so many extra details that might not catch on the first watch - Solid’s mic is a plastic toy and it’s not even plugged into anything. - A Sonichu plush and the “Sanic” totem are in the background. - Solid throwing his mic at Liquid’s face. - Behind Liquid is red soda cup with the oversized drinking straw of fail. - Solid’s look of soul crushing shock and panic during Liquid’s solo. - Clyde Cash and pickle man are in the audience. - In the 3rd phase after Solid starts to rage the medallion is also mad. - Kacey starts to laugh after Solid loses it - Liquid sparkles like an anime protagonist when he sings.

The amount of effort and detail put into make solid Chris look disgusting and act childish while Liquid Chris is the ultimate Chad is just beautiful.

you know it’s a nice change of pace having us root for the enemy and losing no matter what (in a kinda satisfying way)

I find it funny that solid goes first but then liquid does the same but slightly better driving in that feeling that liquid is the TRUE Chris Chan

I just noticed after watching the video over again that Solid Chris' Sonichu Medallion changes after he throws his guitar on the ground and again when he losses. Liquid Chris' Medallion also changes a little when he wins.

I love how even Liquid Chris's Super Sonic necklace is better. Solid Chris's is smaller, less vibrant, and its expression is a neutral smile, while Liquid Chris's is bigger, is a much more vibrant yellow, and has a more determined expression. 2:33 Oh neat and Solid Chris's necklace gets angry with him.

one thing i really find funny about this one song, is that as the right side ur supposed to win all the time but since liquid chris always drains your bar to the lowest point almost always it actually looks like hes the one beating ur ass lmao (which is literally the point of this song)

I don’t know if it was intentional but I really liked the way how solid had an aura of fakeness (toy microphone, guitar hero guitar) while liquid used an actual microphone and an actual guitar.

This is unironically one of the best Friday night funkin mods I have ever seen created. Like this goes toe to toe with rabbits luck- godDAMN THIS IS SO GOOD IN EVERY ASPECT

I love the little detail of the poster getting the parents eye light beams during the guitar solo

Here's ever small detail I noticed - Liquids face at the bottom is constantly smirking/almost laughing, even when losing - Solids microphone cord is broken and not attached to anything - Liquid begins the fight with a long sigh knowing how easy it'll be - When solid misses a note he doesn't have an upset frame, because of his ego - When Solid pulls out the guitar Liquid rolls his eyes, but pulls out the guitar and has a confident smirk - Solids guitar is just a colored one from guitar hero I'm pretty sure - When Liquid begins going sicko mode, you can see Solid shocked and worried before he yells stop. Also, the poster of Liquid in the background has a glint in the glasses appear - When Solid destroys the guitar, the other two are immediately startled, but Liquid quickly starts to look dissappinted more than surprised. The girl also laughs after getting over her shock at Solids' immense anger - In the crowd there's both a sonic and a Sonichu

Glad Chris Chan has lead a successful life and is a cancer researcher while that imposter Ian Brandon Anderson got some much deserved jail time.

What I like most about liquid Chris is the fact that he actually had a life being a doctor so not only was he better then solid Chris but better then all of the other trolls it’s some anime type shit

This mod has a better guitar part than dumped. Who would have known that a one off mod is up at the ranks vs sonic.exe, mcm, and indie cross just for liquids animations and expressions plus the music.

Damn, Ian Brandon Anderson sure does look angry

I think my major complaint with the mod is liquid looks too smug and lanky, like he's an anime villain. The whole point of liquid Chris is that he's the GOOD Chris, the soft spoken, intelligent, genuinely empathetic and charismatic version of them. He wouldn't be looking down at Chris or showing off like in the mod, hell if anything, he'd let 'real' Chris completely have the floor so they could fail on their own terms. Which they would.

I think that my comeback to this is that this is how Solid sees how the battle went. Note how the guitar hero guitar actually makes sound. He probably sees Liquid Chris as a maniacal figure in his life, and probably hates him more than any Bully he's ever encountered. Reason being liquid Chris was an attack at solids victim complex, insinuating that his suffering is (at this point) completely self inflicted. The only thing holding Chris back is his lack of humility and GENUINE kindness that isn't under the creepy veil he puts up.
