Same here, idk why they changed the chromatic for Gumball but I’m glad his chromatic didn’t change in this song

Easily the best song in the Gumball week. I love it so much, it really reminds me of OG FNF songs like Guns and such with really hard dropping beats. Not only that, but it gives me chills at times, specially in the 2:36 part till the end, i genuinely can't stop repeating that part since it's the best one in the song. That part feels like a contrast between the crazy and wacky world of Gumball against the hopeless and inevitable feeling of The Darkness, heck at times it feels like that overpowers Corrupted Gumball's attempt to corrupt Darwin (which does happen in the end, but it seemed to have been a hard time for the Darkness here), it's like there was hope where there wasn't, even if it didn't matter in the end. And the dialogue that happens before that part oh my god... "The *Darkness...* *It's calling me...* ", it sounds dumb to say this about an FNF mod but that line was also partially chilling. This really was up there with Suffering Siblings and Come Along with Me, great fucking job fr, hope you make more songs for this mod!

I 100% agree with you on the “it’s calling me” line. The delivery is impeccable, it’s such a beautiful contrast between the hopeful buildup and Gumball’s helpless and scared voice. It’s like he’s not talking to Bf or Darwin, he may not even be able to tell if they’re still there. It’s less of an internal fight against the corruption and more him digging his nails into the ground as it drags him in.

One tiny detail that really makes this song for me is the fact that once Darwin first shows up, that short high-note piano jingle you can hear in the background is the first few notes of the TAWoG credits music

2:36 DANG THIS PART IS FIRE!!!🔥🔥🔥

I love this song SO MUCH man, probably one of the Best in the Entire Week. 1:35 I love how INSANE Gumball’s Laughs get sometimes in the show, even Greater Here (don’t have to explain how good this part is) 2:36 I Swear I remember which episode he says that in, but it really fits in here, ESPECIALLY with the Great Duet the Brothers Have

The reason I love this song so much is because it really captures Gumball’s struggle as he looses control, and the desperation that Darwin and Boyfriend are feeling as they try to save him. Great work!

Just an extremely well-made song. Most songs mostly just focus on being an absolute banger, but this one is just so different and raw. You can actually feel the emotion the characters are going through, especially when Darwin was introduced, while still being an absolute amazing song to listen to. I swear, since launch I still to this day still listen to this song from time to time. Great Work! Keep it up!

I didn't get to watch Gumball as a kid and the little I watch a while back was...interesting, to say the least, but somehow this song punched me right in the nostalgias.... Literally, it perfectly encapsulates the good memories, the incoming Darkness consuming it all, and the desperate attempt to cling onto that nostalgia before it fades forever from your mind... Like a child crying out for it's mother, who they will never get the chance to see again... Suffering Siblings and Come Along With Me might have the titles of "most epic", but this son and Forgotten World take the cake for the most emotional...

GOD DAMN BANGER! THIS IS REALLY IMPRESSIVE FOR MOBILE!! GOOD JOB MAN!! ONE ON THE BEST SONGS IN THE MOD!

This really makes you feel sad knowing after all this time their world is crumbling and there's nothing they can do.

Although this sounds upbeat it definitely has its sad undertones to it, he's in the clutches of an otherworldly monster that's invaded him and hijacked his body and mind for its own purposes and Darwin showing up to try to get through if Gumball is even still in there, but even so Darwin's right pose is that even though he's concerned for Gumball's current state he's scared for his own safety and even sadder when Gumball speaks again and they flip through their memories using the TV remote. He's trying his best just to get his brother back.
