I like how in the first phase of the song, if sonic dosen't sing in a while, he'll tap his foot impatiently. It's a nice touch of detail that wasn't necessary but makes this so good!

I know enemies usually disappear when Mario hits the goal, but the glitch doesn't follow rules. So even if Mario had jumped and hit the goal, he'd still be done for.

Hey guys elijahz6522 is right Mario didn't reach the goal , because if you look at the goalpost at the end the bar on it , it,s still on the post What may have happened was that when darkness was coming to the post , Mario manage to keep the pace and jumped , but Kirby hit Mario the fair causing to fall , but Mario didn't have time to use the cape feather because sonic was fast as always and did a homing attack on Mario , causing him to fly straight in to the darkness . Oh and one more thing , the coin will only appear when Mario reach's the goal

This is very creative, especially with 1:46. I do like how they combined, the way Mega man and Luigi was sticking their arm out was really clever detailing

I think that one thing that could improve the part where Sonic and Kirby chase Mario is that the background moved faster so that it stays with the Sonic sprite that I feel is going a little fast, and I feel that That part should go faster in the background so that it contrasts more like a chase

Hey, OG remix maker here! This is a pretty good fan mod honestly. Though, I should've mentioned that different characters come at around 1:11, lol. It goes from Infected Sonic, to Infected Tails. And at 1:25, it's Infected Luigi & Bowser. But honestly, my personal favorite part has to be 1:47, because of how well executed it is. The horrifying transformation of Soni-Kirby, the way you have to jump over certain things to survive, everything. You did good, buddy. Subbed.

This is a pretty cool mod. My one gripe with it is that s o m e h o w mario is outrunning sonic (who, btw, is going FULL SPEED). Maybe you could have sonicuse his regular top speed animation instead of his peelout and have him occasionally dashing forwards to try to corrupt mario. It could make for a very fun mechanic

Honestly, I love the idea of sonic and kirby turning into their title screen form during the chase, even if for a moment

Here is how I imagine many video game characters getting corrupted: Mario:He tried using a fire flower but he saw it did nothing so he ran away,but the path he was taking was a dead end. Sonic:A comment said about how it makes perfect sense for Sonic to get corrupted so let me explain what they said,basically Sonic is VERY fast however all his attacks include ramming into enemies...I think you get how he got corrupted. Peppino:He was extremely fast,but a corrupted cheese slime got stuck on his leg,turning him slowly..and slowly...into an insane bankrupt italian. *inspired comments:* Scout and Pyro:Pyro first,due to his gas mask on,he couldn't see the darkness and figured out it was some new decoration. It glued to his shoe making him unable to move,he shouted and shouted and finally Scout and Spy came. Spy disguised himself as Blue Scout as a prank,but Scout thought he was real and tried to push Spy,but Spy countered him and launched a straight knife in his chest,making him fall into Pyro and slowly get absorbed while crying for his momma.(Inspired by RandomDude) Getting more ideas later cause lazy :)

As A Kirby fan i see two things wrong ( still a good mod tho) 1. Kirby in the air is not as fast as sonic full speed 2. If kirby lets any air out while in air that thing goin down Also i love how Yoshi gets caught. How he realizes that he made the wrong move.

My theory of the pibby corruption is that the cartoons are actually experiencing a video game glitch, and because they are cartoons they cant handle it, while sonic mario and kirby would be like “damn, im going through the walls again” it dosnt affect them that much

This is such a creative take of the Darkness in Pibby. It really feels like it’s taking over actual videogames. Also Kirby and Sonic as the pursuers? Yeah it makes perfect sense. Sonic would definitely get captured by the Darkness, I know he’s fast, but all his attacks, excluding the extra stuff, involves him ramming into his opponents. Which is a really bad move against the Darkness. Then we have Kirby, who has one strategy of eating things. I don’t think I need to explain the issue there. My only question, which isn’t really related to the video but is more just a fun lore question, how would the videogame characters travel between different games? Also would they be able to exit them? And if so, are they any stronger in the ‘real world’ then they are in their games. I feel like it would work similar to that one Pixel movie, where every character is a massively over powered version of themselves in real life.

I doubt any of them would survive given that they’re all fairly similar in personality and methods of fighting. I suppose this question also applies to every videogame character that has multiple running titles.

@@cantmakeacreativename2072 in my opinion, yes because each of the Sonic games (not including rom hacks and Knuckles in Sonic 2) have different sprites for Sonic and in sonic 3, Tails has slightly different sprites. and if we are taking betas into account there is 1 Sonic 3 beta where sonic has a ranged attack where he can throw rings. (Edit) My question is do multiple copies of the same game mean multiple sonics???

well it all tracks back to... 2019. in the development of pizza tower, SAGE 1019 was a huge watermark as the game was very close to being finished. in that time it was related to sonic, so sonic was celebrating with his lookalike, snick.what happened was, after the celebration the corruption actually came toget them so they didn't have time to react. but thats just a theory... In this situation I do agree mario would do better than sonic against the corruption thinking about it. Sonic could out run the glitch but the problem comes to if they’re surrounded Mario had tons of items and powerups that allow him to fly or at least avoid large pits of corruption. Kirby falling makes sense to considering his history of accidently unleashing great evil and/or chaos without a second thought. Though honestly when mario had to book it on foot he was doomed because what I mentioned earlier is now the opposite. While mario has more ability to dodge the corruption he has little to nothing that can actually let him out speed sonic

if Tails was also there.. sonc could do the infamous grab onto tails and fly away :D, also super/hyper sonic can fly at EXTREME speeds

If you think about it, both Sonic and Kirby had the tools to finish the job in mere seconds. They didn't. They were toying with him the entire time.

I just realized the sonic model that got corrupted was the model from sonic 1 and cd so that means there a chance that the sonic from sonic 3 migut survive because it's a different model

Ok so my theory is than Mario didnt reach the goal becouse of time, the timer was reaching the end when he was going to reach the goal so the time's up and Mario loses getting corrupted in the process My other theory is than Mario reached the goal, at the final of the video we can see a coin, that coin only appears when an object/enemy is on screen when you reach the goal so Mario reached the goal ereasing all the glitch but killing himself on the progress (becouse he was already corrupted)

It would have been great if in the background of the song you could see the blocks or the glitched floor like in the video games of its time and see references to the glitches of super mario world

He already did escape because at the end we see a poof and a coin means that he made it just slightly

Just realized kirby is probably a big threat because before he could only get copy abilitys from HIS game but now there's infinite possibilities Edit: also with the warp star and stuff

I must say that things like this are rarely seen, congratulations on your work! PS: If for some reason you continue working on this I would like to propose the idea that the Yoshi at the beginning catches Mario at the end of the song.

I honestly think Mario should've won. Mario had the fire flower suit on the WHOLE SONG. We all know that Mario could've just thrown a fireball at the darkness and it (possibly) catch on fire. Just a thought.

We all saw the coin, but look closely beside the goal post. You can see that Mario lost because the darkness basically swallowed him whole. I think the coin is because the darkness passed the goal post??

A little detail i just noticed, when kirby and sonics icon are normal, they aren't corrupted, but then where your health is 100%, their icon is corrupted

lore time: pibby and bf we're looking for sonic they weren't able to find him and went back to their world looking for survivors meanwhile sonic and luigi we're having a talk wondering what is happening until a darkness version of kirby show up luigi and sonic had no choice to fight so they teamed up to defeat it that was there worst mistake. meanwhile yoshi and mario where on the way to save the princess however on there journey they encountered 2 familiar rivals until yoshi decide to attack sonic grab his tongue and corrupted him. mario decide to run until sonic and kirby chase him sonic and could be fused and what mario saw will haunt him tell this day he saw the truth form of the darkness he also saw luigi and mega man mario was almost there to the exit unfortunate for him mario wasn't fast enough and became 1 Of them. Is my 1st time wearing this.

This song slaps and honestly it makes sense mario temporarilly escaped the corruption, he's got a multitude of power ups on his side like the tanooki suit the invincibility star a Cape and he's constantly jumping, it makes sense the classic variation of sonic would get corrupted, even though he's not as cocky as modern sonic he stil has a pretty bad moveset, Kirby wouldnt stand a chance and its not because of his abillity to swallow things, kirby would be smart enough to know its not edible, but its due to his escape mechanism, kirby would fly away and due to the fact he's incredibly slow when doing it the darkness could easily take him down mid air

Alot of people seem to HIGHLY undersell kirby. I mean for one the swallowing things argument is just stupid, when kirby eats fire he doesn't get set on fire, he gains fire abilities. Same would likely apply here, the corruption may even be the thing kirby would need to escape into another world. As for your argument, while it's true that kirby isn't that fast I feel like most people have forgotten about world of light. As a reminder in super smash bros ultimate (a game made by kirbys original creator) during the intro cutscene for world of light the entire world is taken over by galeems light, but kirby lives. The warp star carried kirby away (who knows where) and allowed him to escape. Why would this be any different? I know people don't like the "kirby is a literal god" argument, but it's still true. None of this is to say I dislike the video, just that I personally doubt it would play out this way.

@levence643 Kirbys entire thing is eating, his stomach is a literal pocket dimension. Poisons job is to kill, what happens when kirby eats that? Fires job is to burn, what happens when kirby eats that? Mario isn't kirby, simple as that.

@@pineappleudh6561 But from what we've seen, the darkness isn't fire nor poison. It's something utterly different. Also, it's job is to consume worlds. How you know it won't consume kirbies stomach pocket dimesnion?

Something i obviously like about this. Is the fact thats the sonic 1 sprite for infected sonic. Super Sonic is immune to basicly everything in his game and even with limited rings he could escape the darkness if he played it smart. However he only gets that transformation in sonic 2 with a difrent sprite to match . Meaning Sonic 1 is the perfect hunting ground for The Darkness. Sonic is fast. But not a coward. He would atack that thing first chance he has and we all know how that would turn out for him Kirby is in a similar boat. Powerfull but onestly pretty stupid at times. Any kirby player knows their instinct upon seing a new enemy is testing out the new ability . A more cautious player would use the whell or jet ability to get out of there. But all in all its a mixed bag for kirb. As his abilties depend on the enemies thus the place he is in.

so the darkness can infect normal video game characters. what about creepypastas? what would happen if it tried to infect someone like fatal error, who already is a computer virus? or like lost silver, who, already being dead, is pretty much immune to everything?

I think it depends on the case, if it is fatal error in its final form and the glitch with everything consumed, maybe fatal error wins, he can control literally anything (object, place, character) and well the glitch couldn't do much more, or maybe the glitch make a super elaborate plan, after all the glitch is something living that thinks (I think) *don't take any of this seriously, it's just my theory*. *skull* you really made me look like the *nerd finger up*
