Well V2 is more accurate to MX because when he is chasing Lucas he SMASHES through the walls instead of jumping over them.

I like how the V2 was made with Demise in mind. V1 Powerdown has a very fast-paced segment after the “WAHOO!” to represent the feeling of the part where you run like hell from MX. That part is now replaced with one that kinda feels almost like a complete mental break after GF get ripped in half, because the idea of running from this dude now has its own song entirely where BF actually runs for his life

Seeing old marios madness is so oddly amazing since the old still has some effort and quality and with its final result its such a good sight

The V2 Version of MX Looks more demonic and more haunting than V1

V2 was an absolute glow up for sure. This song really benefitted from the added intrumental and vocal complexity, both for difficulty and overall quality. Dude is terrifying in this one, plus that BF scream in 3:15 *sells* the drama after MX kills GF. What a good improvement.

I like how MX in every mod is this massive behemoth of a monster He’s always is, or is slightly, taller than bf or just absolutely massive

i know this isn't a major detail, but they also changed mx's design to where the colors of his shirt and overalls are the same as the original (the major one is that he's his hella tall canon height)

3:17 honestly I feel the emotions v2 is trying to portray where as in v1 it just feels like spam

V1 Powerdown was like the best song in the mod when it first came out (right next to V1 Golden Land & V1 IHY), and it is by far the greatest song KINGF0X ever made. While V2 is an absolute glow-up in terms of quality, I’d say I like both versions.

Something that I loved from Powerdown V2 is to see MX disguised at the start of the song

While I do miss some parts of V1 (and that the "Innocence" line was in the instrumental) HOLY &*#@ is v2 kicked up a few notch in terms of intensity!

I'm in confusion with MX's height, like literally. In Mario's Monday Night Massacre and in Mario's Madness V2 he is humongous, while in the original game he is just a bit taller than Lucas. Can ANYBODY explain me please?

Powerdown v1's vocal is KINGF0X and Powerdown v2's vocal is Sunset. Sunset is voice actor of Mario 85 PC Port's MX.

v1 is my fav personally

V2 is pretty good in a lot of aspects but it just doesn’t hit as hard as V1. It feels like they tried too hard by shoving all this unneeded noise in it. Also I like how V1 goes completely silent until AFTER the Wahoo! but V2 decided to make it harder to hear by covering it up with the song.

V2 has more emotion shown, while showing what mx is capable of. V1 just seems like a chill rap battle
