As much as I love this song, the people in the comments saying things like "this is what OG All-Stars should have been" are being a little harsh towards the original song. This is essentially a whole new song with the same/similar chromatics and same story, so it's honestly a little unfair to be comparing these two songs like that, especially considering OG All-Stars still filled its purpose of being a great finale song on its own, and this should be seen as more of an ALT version. Anyway amazing job :)

Actually it's NOT the same story. Boyfriend dies in All-Stars, but since Noichi confirmed this was a good ending, it can only be assumed M goes down. I do however, agree with the rest of your points.

this retake on All Stars was just a banger. Act 3 has been drastically changed to be more consistent with the rest of the song. If only we kept M switching between chromatics but I love this take all the same.

I think act 3 being different fit the vibe. It was the moment the tide changed, and reflected bf's emotional state too.

I love the more final escape-esque tone, while All-Stars feels like a good sendoff for a Mario mod, this feels like Ultra M giving his all. Also as a Mario fan. Champion’s Road seems like a more fitting name, but the current one does work

Just from the first 10 seconds i was blown away. THIS SONG IS INSANE.

If this is all a stage BF and GF helped M put together, then those heart-wrenching vocals BF belted out tell me that he's not just a great rapper and singer, but also a FANTASTIC actor.

I really like All Stars cause of how climatic it sounded, but this is really nice and stands on its own as a cool energetic take on the song. Bravo!

This thing I love about endgame is that it actually sounds like an actual final standoff, compared to all stars this actually feels like a final song which the official one lacks, very great and interesting take on a great song.

The first all stars doesn't feel like a final standoff to you? I thought it had the vibe of a hero fighting an unwinnable battle hence the sad themes at certain intervals of the song, while this feels more like a rushed final battle

​@@ztdtlf9717 tbh, I'd say that the og All Stars feels extended to a degree and some parts that are meant to be emotional or impactful get drowned out by itself (ex: the Ultra M chorus in Act 3 or most of the other characters appearing in Act 4 being almost indifferentiable from Ultra M) Aside from Omega M's importance to the song feels pretty random, he should've had an individual song before this All Stars is far from being bad ofc, but it feels underwhelming, specially with songs that have done the final battle type of song better like Triple Trouble or The Happiest Day

It's meant to he a completely emotional breakdown and the feeling of "you're fighting a losing battle" which is the whole point of the ending of mario madness Omega m and the other appearances were just meant for Ultra M to kill girlfriend while they all distract bf. While All-Stars put on a good show, it feels like the spectacle was its main focus. This, however, rightfully puts the music first. This doesn't suffer from sounding like "FNF music", this is just good music, straight up. Your work with the harmonies between Bf and Gf's voices is really striking, and, on top of that, I love the Mario 3 boss theme reference in Omega's bit. :>

this is kind of a thing i've noticed with a ton of fnf stuff... people keep on saying stuff like that. y'know, "this is better than X" and whatnot. yes, endgame is good. love the unique take. but the og all-stars simply worked with the triple-trouble esque symphony composition. most jarring would be the supposed emotional impact of gf's death... this song puts that to the side. Makes for a good ALT. But it wouldn't work if it was actually what was in place of All-Stars.
