FnF is wild, you did good picking out a couple good songs from the modding community, a lot of it does deal with nieche creative expression though. One thing I find impressive about these mods are that a couple of people just come together and make their own take on FnF, make their own song and story then send it out for everyone to play. Your first exposure was with one of the best the community has to offer to be honest. Silly Billy still sticks out as an extremely good mod so it would be a bit hard to top that one in terms of music and quality 😅

as someone whos been a fnf fan since early 2021, its cool seeing folk like you have an appreciation for the community! to answer a few of your questions: 1. these songs are all computer vs player. the opponents notes, visually, were distracting at first, but the more you play the more you learn to tune them out. 2. the vibrato on the notes arent controlled by the game engine or the player actually, the vibrato is just part of the vocal sound file itself. every single song is split up into two parts, the vocals, and the instrumental. the game plays both sound files at the same time, and whatever the composer does is how it sounds. There are some instances, like overdue, wherein more sounds are added ingame, but it hardly ever happens. 3. the note colors, at least to my knowledge, arent indicative of anything. the colors are a reference to the colors on a ps1 controller more than anything. i can def see how folk think each color means something though. for some song recommendations: Marios madness V2 - All stars Marios madness V2 - Paranoia Sonic.exe Rerun - Toploader Vs Sonic.exe - Triple trouble Vs sonic.exe - manual blast Vs sonic.exe - perdition Dave and bambi 3.0 - Blocked 3.0 Dave and bambi 3.0 - Exploitation Hotline 024 - Expurgated or any song, they're all good Seeks cool deltarune mod - any song Hit single real - Trichael (this is the same mod Silly Billy is from, fun fact!) Hello, I'm an FNF artist and kinda musician. As someone who's been a part of this community for years, it's so cool to see famous reaction channels seeing this game, despite how "cringe" people think it is. Coming in to answer questions you asked and provide examples of what I believe are very good songs to listen to. First of all, not all FNF enthusiasts/modders are musicians. I'm interested in music a bit, but I'm more on the art and animation side of things. There's actually quite a LOT of different pieces of things that go into an FNF mod, from writing to art to music to coding, there's a LOT of people who work on this. Secondly, for me, it's been several years of listening to and playing this game nearly every day. This game, funnily enough, actually made my art so much better. All mods are community created, yes. And the note colors vary depending on the mod, Silly Billy has a note based color for fourth, eighth, sixteenth notes, etc, but the basic notes are colored for left as purple, down as blue, up as green, and red as right. Top five FNF songs isn't possible to say because of the amount of variation in opinion and just... there's too many. In my opinion these are songs you should check out: - Last Chance from VS Tabi (a classic) - Powerdown V2 from Mario's Madness V2 (one of my personal favorites, however gore trigger warning.) - Our Harmony from Doki Doki Takeover (I think that'd be something a music channel would enjoy picking apart) - Markov from Doki Doki Takeover Bad Ending (Another personal favorite, sh tw) - Perseverance from Friday Night Dustin'. (Another personal fav) Thank you for these reactions!

There’s a lot to say about rhythm gaming, but to explain some things: - The other side is something you don’t really need, it exists because that is the general style of FNF from the base game, a call and response. You don’t actually look at that at all when you play. - I see you are quite confounded on how people actually manage to play these games, and the most specific answer i THINK you might be able to understand is that when you play a rhythm game you can only rely on the music, practice, and your sight-reading ability. The details behind it is kinda complicated, but basically when you play you are in “the zone” like when you’re at the perfect level of concentration, and this makes sight-reading much easier. When you practice you are actually improving your ability to get into “the zone”

to explain more about how the game works since you had some questions: 1. You only play the arrows on the right side (tho some mods have you play left instead but those are pretty rare and usually give you a heads up) 2. The other side is not ai, at least not in the normal sense. Rather, the other side ALWAYS plays their notes perfectly. Instead it's basically survival. each note restores health/moves your icon farther to the left as you can see on the bottom of the screen. How well you time the notes dictates how much health you get back (either that or it's just a score thing i forget, either way the gameplay's the same). Missing notes makes you lose health. In addition, some mods have HP Drain effects where whenever the opponent hits a note you will lose hp, mirroring how you gain hp when you hit notes. The intensity of this health drain can vary between mods, but are usually less than the amount of hp you gain with your notes 3. As someone else in the comments mentioned, the game shows the opponent's side because you are often supposed to repeat part or all of what they do, so their side acts as a sneak peak. Of course there are times when your side is completely original to your opponents where the other side is more of a distraction. Some mods get rid of this mechanic to either make it harder on the player by getting rid of their heads up, or to eliminate the distraction, depending on the scenario

I did not expect you to look at more songs from FNF! There's a lot of modded song recommendations in this comment section, so instead I shall toss two suggestions from the base game: Guns - Kawai Sprite Thorns (Erect Mix) - Kawai Sprite & Saster And personally, I enjoy the musical analysis side your videos and if you decide to look at more songs I would enjoy if you talked more about that, because the composition and music of FNF songs in both base games and mods tends to go undervalued by the "mainstream." Plus, I enjoy your discussion about those things. But if you decide to hold back on that in the future that's fine too, I don't mind just watching someone enjoy FNF music!

So, it might be helpful for someone to break down a few things about FNF music as a whole, and more specifically the songs you showed here. So, generally, Friday Night Funkin music works on mostly call-and-response melodies, with harmonies and duets sprinkled in, as you mentioned. When it comes to the base game's songs, they're supposed to have a sense of progression (Week 1s songs are easy-ish, Week 2s are harder etc.) The player's side of the screen is _generally_ the right side (I say generally as some songs, mainly modded, will change this, either temporarily or for the entire song); you can always tell this when watching, by what side's notes light up when hit. A lot of mods nowadays will tend to have visual distractions, which try to make the game harder (stuff like the bendy cutouts in the Bendy songs from Indie Cross, or the Sunky jpegs in the song Milk, from Vs. Sonic.EXE V3.0. You mentioned about the timings for when the notes rise up, that they weren't on the strong beats. The notes will often be hit on strong beats (when they overlap with the arrows on the top is when you hit the corresponding key;) them coming on-screen like they do is just to give the player time to react. In Overdue, rather than playing as The Boyfriend (the normal protagonist,) you play as Pico (the Uzi kid.) For the corruption mod song, you play as a corrupted version of The Boyfriend, against who would be considered one of the main antagonists of the main game; Daddy Dearest. The song itself has lots of references to the main game's songs, as well as Corrupted Boyfriend shapeshifting into different characters from the main game too. Defeat is intended as a bonus song after completing the main story songs in the Vs Imposter mod, which is why it seems to be basically just note spam. All of the songs you showed are from community made mods, some examples of songs from the original FNF include Bopeebo, Spookeez, MILF (yes, that's the actual name), and Guns. I would highly recommend going through some of the base game songs, they are really good songs. In terms of modded song recommendations, i would definitely recommend Triple Trouble (be warned, it's an 8+ minute song; might warrant a video on and of itself,) Fight or Flight, Faker/Black Sun or Burning (from Sonic.EXE V3.0,) Doomsday, Dead Hope or Served (from Mistful Crimson Morning,) and most any song from the Indie Cross OST, but definitely Snake Eyes, Knockout, Whoopee, Burning In Hell, Terrible Sin and Last Reel. Each of those are certified bangers and well worth a listen, even if not to analyse them. Hope this sorta helps somewhat, feel free to ask if you need other things clarifying about the game, I'm sure we'd all love to fill you in. Love your content dude, keep doing what you're doing ❤.

When it comes to FNF, the reason why they often share the other sides notes is cause it basically will often act as a sneak peak for what your future notes will be - as you saw in the first two songs, there were often parts where you the player would Echo the other side so when things are more chill and you see your opponent suddenly throw a good amount of notes at you you have a heads up. Its also why some songs remove that feature, both to make it harder, and - as you brought up - to make it easier to focus on your own notes. It really helps when some songs will throw damage/instakill notes at you or notes you have to hit to not die or other gimmicks. Defeat, the last song, for e ample, is basically meant to be a early game Final Boss/Test of Skill in its mod, so you cant see Black Imposters notes, the music runs really fast, and iirc its running on a Three Strikes and Your Out Policy (If you miss a certain amount of times you die), so the focus is nice

And Mario/Pico recite that same melody; creating the effect that the player has heard the melody before. I thought that was cool enough to point out.

When it comes to reading notes and timing your inputs, it's a lot like reading sheet music in the sense of reading ahead and quickly preparing for when you need to play each note. There's definitely a learning curve cause what you can read vs how well you can play your inputs can cross wires sometimes, but it becomes a lot more natural with time and practice. And the further along that you play rhythm games, you start to pick up how notes are placed along the track as it comes towards the zone you press inputs. You learn note patterns, the timing between when notes are played: Are they on beat, off beat, placed in off timing all together? Stuff like that. You start building a sense of rhythm and sight reading like that as well.

It's great to know you listened to and analyzed more FNF songs! There are so many great songs, and I hope you don't mind if I suggest some since I'm kind of a big fan! (If you have any interest, of course.) My personal choices are: Dismantle, Trapped V2, Followed V2 (Vs Ourple Guy V3) Starman Slaughter, All Stars, Unbeatable (Mario's Madness V2) Terror In The Heights, Ultrafield, Cataclysm (Vs Gorefield V2) Free 4 Me/Obituary (RodentRap/Sonic Legacy) Your Copy (FNF: Classified) Technicolor Tussle, Final Stretch, Last Reel (Indie Cross) Looking forward to your next reaction! Hope you have a good one! (Also I know they might have been quite a few, but I can assure you they are great, and worth your time.)

There are years upon years worth of songs and creations that you could listen to from this community, but if I were to recommend just one, I say give the song “Comatose” from the Dead Air mod a listen. FNF mods has some good music even though the hate might come around, but to be quite honest, I have 2 mods that I personally enjoy the music and it's from Indie Cross which is like a combination of Indie games thrown into FNF with some mechancis that make the game harder and also Hotline 024 there are a couple joke songs but this mod was composed by mostly 1 person who even helped into making some music recently for FNF itself which is Saruky (they make such good music) and also this mod features like around an hour of songs which is insane to think for a FNF mod that is not complete, it has a lot of video game references or memes in it (memes are more likely into joke songs). But yeah, I highly recommend those 2 mods, Indie Cross and Hotline 024, love the video analysis, keep it up man!

Some inside info from a long time fnf fan. 1. The first song is mr.l vs pico, mr.l (aka TOO LATE) is an old creepypasta/fangame about the malevolent spirit of luigi, who died in an accident during an adventure, and blames mario for it, and then his soul tortures and plays with mario, before killing him and turning him into "the forgiven" (the mario ghost that appeared before the chase section) 2. Defeat is the second-to-last song in "vs imposter", with the v4 version being codeveloped by innersloth, the devs who made among us in the first place. 3. The blue haired kid in defeat and final battle is called "boy friend", a 19 year old who LOVES rap battles. 4. In the files, the instrumental track and the vocal track for songs are actually 2 separate audio files, so when you miss, the vocal stops but the instrumental stays on. 5. Keeping track of the beat is actually useful in-game, as it allows you to predict when your turn comes up

  • @myounakami
    @myounakamiАй бұрын

For why we see the NPC's side: In the base game, the songs were characterized as 'rap battles'; this meant most of the songs, especially the earlier ones, were a lot of back and forth exchanges where the opponent played a rhythm and the player responded to it. By showing the player the opposition's notes, it allows the player to have an idea of what to expect coming up once it's their turn in terms of rhythm and difficulty... there's also a bit of a distraction element where the song might throw a curveball by adding in notes while the opponent is still going, or in the case of some songs, switching the player's arrows onto the opponent's side of the screen.

hihi im like a REALLY big fnf fan so here's some fun facts!! general stuff: the player is! *usually* on the right and is usually the orange hair kid or the blue hair kid. blue hair guy (boyfriend (yes that's his actual name)) and orange hair guy (pico) both dated before. this is not relevant but it's very cool mods for fnf are not made by the original devs of fnf the arrow colors are usually to indicate what input or just cause it looks cool. you play against an ai, and the ai's arrows are there to make it seem like an even sided rap battle (or something?) overdue / mario's madness v2: this song is from a mod in which boyfriend and pico both sing against mario creepypastas. it's unironically one of the best mods out there. the bullet magazine mechanic makes you die if you miss 3 bullets. also i will be killed if i don't mention YO SOY LUIGI corruption / deathmatch: this used to be a simple reskin mod that had one of the first custom modded songs! eventually it turned into its own series! it's one of my favoritez :D defeat / impostor v4: this mod was actually given the greenlight by innersloth, the creators of among us! this mod has around 3 hours worth of songs and loads of custom art! also, for this song, if you miss 5 (or less times, depending on what the player selected) times you instantly die. extra songz you should check out btw!!: Mario's Madness v2 Its-A-Me Sharman Slaughter All-Stars (~8 minutes long) Unbeatable (~10 minutes long) Thalassophobia Sonic.EXE Triple Trouble (~8 minutes long) Chaos Fight or Flight Prey Endless Cycles Base Game (not a mod) Pico Erect Blamed Erect 2hot Hit Single Real Darnell Wet Fart Impostor v4 D'low Mando Double Kill Delusion Magmatic Ashes FNF Online Challenges Accelerant Roadkill Unloaded Vs. as someone who's been into the game since kickstarter release, there are many things to cover though please go at whatever pace you feel is best for yourself as FNF can be overwhelming with its insane amount of projects. I'll adress a few things that you may have wondered about: (official Vs. mods !) there is a difference between dev work and mod work, everything you have seen so far is made by people of the community expressing their creativity and love for the characters they bring into song and art, and game itself. nothing here is official ^^ i myself would recommend checking the entire official base game of FNF before continuing with mods, mostly so you can have a better click on who is who as characters from main game can appear in mods youll see in the future ! official FNF in itself does have really good music and has had few updates drop ever since the release of Silly Billy, though the songs come served in "weeks". three songs per character is made up in said weeks. id recommend doing a week per video or listening to everything the full game has in one entire video ! (character explanation !) the ginger with the uzi is Pico, he originates from newgrounds as a huge mascot for the platform itself along with many others. Pico does have an official week in the official game, as FNF is a newgrounds game and will tend to include other newgrounds favorites like Pico. Pico's a fan favorite too for his difference in "chromatic" (his voice) and his songs within main game,, that alone is why youll see him appear in many many mods. (pinned comment question !) to anwser the pinned comment, I do think if you have shorter tracks lined up a video like this is reaallyy good ! for longer songs that reach high in time (some songs can be seven minutes, ten minutes, etc.) and genuinely interest you I feel should have more deep analysis ! i also think, and it can depend, that if theres a series of some kind people really want you to get on, you can make a special lengthy video on said series ? I already know people will want your take on more of Marios Madness v2 (the song Overdue came from) and Corruption (the song Deathmatch came from), which both arent short mods by any means, so it may be good to tackle lots of the same mod into a video. (final thoughts !) you have started your expereince of FNF with four big fan favorites within the community, and its wonderful seeing your reaction to what people like me love, and I can only hope you continue with the game ! I'll give you two mod recommendations of my own, not just songs because both have more than one amazing song, and the two really built FNF from the ground: Vs. Whitty and Vs. Sonic.EXE v2 (along with Final Escape made by Saster). these two will get suggested lots anyway but I figured I'd throw them out there as well, both blew up in FNF back when it was a smaller game though to this day I still love them !

Getting into FNF now is a lot more confusing than getting into FNF back in like 2021 so I’ll try to add some context to some of the things you’re seeing lol 1) What you’re looking at are mods, fanmade stuff by the community. That’s why you see stuff like Luigi, and different varieties in quality. These are mostly made by teenagers who just do this stuff for fun. They need a composer, coder, artist, note charter, and things like that so it’s a pretty difficult process for something just for fun. 2) The original reason for seeing the left side’s notes (the ai) was because the original game had a pretty Simon Says like mechanic. You see the left side play first to get an idea of what you’re getting into. This changed over time as the original game added harmonies as a mechanic, and then as mods came along and just did whatever they wanna do for the music. I recommend just looking at the original games songs too if you haven’t already. 3) The reason for songs like Defeat (the among us song you looked at) having so many notes is for difficulty of course. But I always found the fact that people can make stuff like this and it still sounding good as a song. It wasn’t always like this, though, because as mods were just starting out the songs were filled with spam in hopes of being the hardest song to play lol. Probably not that interesting from a music theory perspective but you could check them out if you’re interested. Songs like Ballistic from Vs Whitty, or any song from Vs Matt. 4) I think that’s it sorry for the long comment lmao. I haven’t tuned in to this game in a while and I was just curious to see what a music person had to say about these songs, and I guess you unearthed an old interest of mine. I highly recommend you check out the composer Saruky, who works on the mod Hotline 024. Her songs are GROOVY and she even works for the official game now

Lots has been said in the comments already so I'll try to keep my comment brief. Think of the game as an overlay over the music. You'll play along to the "voices", and it'll even mute them if you start missing, but it's not really doing much more than that to the audio. As someone who's been into VGM for a while, and as someone who took my first step into composing because of this game, I just find the pipeline here facinating. You'll have people come in with the most basic doodles, or the simplest beats, and then come out 1-2 years later (sometimes just months) with competent to outstanding works, and it is just mental to me how that works out. Not to mention the sheer variety of content on display (as in, if you can think it, there's probably a MODification out there for it). All in all, you have just scratched the surface with these, and if you keep diggin, you'll be sure to find even more gold soon! (I guess in terms of recommendations, picking a couple songs from the base game couldn't hurt. Usually published under Funkin' Sound Team. The mod that Silly Billy is from, Hit Single also has way more tracks then just Silly Billy, if that piques your interest. For an out there pick no one'll recommend (probably) (due to visibility I would surmise) Red Station by RedTV53 is a good track. That'll be all from me. Thanks again for deciding to look into this game, your insight is invaluable!)

every mod dev as something to focus not just making music so for an example there are 4 mod devs for one mod one focuses on making the song, another on drawing and animating, a charter that makes a chart for the song and finally a coder that codes everything together as an early fnf fan from 2021 it had an influence on me and actually inspired me to become a modder myself Im a coder and it's always fun to put everything together and make everything playable also speaking of which side the player should be in, it's the right side most of the time, but sometimes the player is on the left side (that's rare though so it depends if it's needed) for the music as one comment said, the composer is the one that controls everything about the voices and instrumental also i recommend watching the newest episode from phantom fear (the corruption mod creator) It's really peak

To answer your question during the first song analysis, I am a musician. I play the trombone in the Menard Highschool band and we actually just got state champion in Texas this year! But from my perspective, I think putting time into this game is worth it if you're as interested in music as myself. Now playing this isnt the best use of my time, but I do enjoy myself while playing. To others I think theyd say that alot of this is easy, but i find it to be quite challenging. Though i would have to say playing trombone or any other musical instrument is more worthwhile than playing a silly little rhythm game. But i enjoy doing both so i cant complain. But apart from all that, i think these analysis videos are very enjoyable and bring both my love for music and games together! So thank you for creating something so enjoyable. Definitely going to sub for any future content!

The reason why there's arrows notes on each side this was designed as a call and response rhythm game. The left side (opponent side) would usually play first, followed by the right side (the player side) following that same melody. Now that FNF Modding has changed A LOT, it generally has more variety to the notes than just copying from the opponent themselves! And yea the left is controlled by an AI following the note pattern it's set to played while the right is usually the player side Oh and I recommend you to listen to the base game songs (cough cough Fresh ERECT remix) and for the modding side I'd recommend "Broadcasting" by Saruky. And funny thing, Saruky now works both in the Modding stuff AND the base game which is awesome :D

As a musician myself, that plays drums, orchestral percussion and piano, i like fnf cause is fascinating for me to see this kind of music, so outside of what we know as a "musical piece" like, how the vocals, atonals and all can all sound so good, rythmical, so melodic or intense, and i am a player, and charter (the one that makes the gameplay in the songs,) Now. The equivalent to measures in fnf are the secctions, each sections has it's own special place when all the notes are being put together, and you just play as the main player, not both, yet, there are some mods that make you play 10th notes, like, yeah, crazy. And musically, is wonderful to me how the 8th, 16th and 32 notes can be put in a chart and how it all can be playable and have sense as a, idk, a trumpet or string playing this melodies and writing them on a actually music sheet, and as a player, is all about knowing your keys and have the coordinations, concentration and know what pattern you are playing, atleast for me i play with patterns like, i learn how to play double notes, hold notes, triple notes, quadruple notes, a stair case (which are all the notes in the form of a stair ) they are WAAAAY too different patterns and you just identify them at the moment and play them, is hard, i know, but idk, i just like such a different gameplay like that, it all depends on the player, how able can he/she be with the skill level and such. And, is wayy harder to learn a intrument or practice for a rehearsal or any different videogame like, atleast for me, and is of coruse, more productive, Hope i answered all your doubts and questions from my experience, God bless you, you now have a new subscriber

sup, fnf modder here (I've worked on MMNM, Analog Funkin, FNF Antiverse, Vs. Cartman, and more) to answer some stuff (most peeps have but as someone with experience workin on this stuffs) songs are simply imported into the engine, the engine itself doesn't add or remove anything to them, so you are hearing just an export thats been charted the note colors (to my knowledge) do not indicate anything, charting is normally done on 16ths, and each tail is a 4th (could be wrong, and this can change with songs in swing) the vocals having vibrato is somethin that some add, but it also comes from how the chromatic (or the characters voices) are actually made it could be different now, but normally, you would sample a noise/sound (I.E: saying the letter e) and then stretching it out. the vibrato comes from the stretch of the note itself, so most, if not all chroms that aren't one tone will have a tiny bit of it I know a few people in the FNF scene do play some instruments, but most are DAW only (FL Studio) somethin cool you could do is a collab with LongestSoloEver, a youtuber who plays multiple instruments, and has a lot of knowledge about FNF Some songs I would personally recommend would be: • Any Vs. Cassette Girl song (I would recommend Machina) • Your Copy - FNF Classified • Alert - Friday Night Crunchin' • Roadkill - Online Vs. • Homie-cide - Friday Night Dustin' • Any Hotline 024 song (I like Nightland, and Deep Poems) • Followed - Ourple Guy Thanks for checkin' out the communities stuff!

A lot of mods are heavily mechanics based. For example, Overdue has a mechanic where you have to hit bullet notes. Miss those 4 times, and you die. In Defeat, you can choose up to 5 misses, where if you miss more than the select amount, you dies instantly instead of the healthbar mechanic. If you want to check out a good mod that's mechanic heavy that also has very good music, I would recommend looking at Friday night Funkin: Indie Cross. (PS, my cousin is making an fnf mod himself, it's called Vs Anima. It's a work in progress, and the songs with Boyfriend he admits aren't the best, but he has a lot more songs with original characters that are well made with decently high difficulty and are pretty long (He's aiming to make a 30 minute song at one point). If anyone's interested, then keep an eye out for Vs Anima (Though it may he renamed to something like Vs Centuria)

Deathmatch was an amazing pick, by the way, as that song was made by Saruky and Datdavi. Answering the question: I play French Horn and learned maybe over the course of either less than a year or maybe a year to be better at sightreading charts for FNF. Hey Tony! New fan, only recently subscribed, love the content! I see there's been some discussion on how you should go about formatting the FnF stuff, so I wanted to give my 2 cents on the topic As someone who's been writing, composing, arranging and producing music for a couple years now, I really enjoy the content you put out analysing the ins and outs of songs. Seeing you find the FnF community was also really exciting for me, as FnF is a large part of my journey, and I have much to thank it for. FnF has built a community of creators, and birthed loads of music producers like myself who are all starting out raw, yearning to be polished. More content that goes deeper into how and why a song is the way it is would be exactly what this community needs more of, in my opinion. I would much prefer if you did deeper dives into each song, rather than simply reacting to them, as I feel it is much more meaningful.

something to keep in mind with fnf corruption mod is that a lot of the early songs are just remixes of official fnf songs the song you listened to (deathmatch) is one of the more original songs, but parts of the song are references to the official songs the earlier songs are also currently being reworked so they're not just remixes (speaking of, it would be cool if you maybe reacted to the official fnf songs)

Best thing about the community is that it has endured so much, for example the music and instruments have developed incredibly well but sadly some good mods have been cancelled out of the blue due to modders having anger attacks and leaking the content. The community has been built brick by brick from a joke type game to modders making masterpieces with songs, arts and mechanics. Love seeing you react to these songs and i'd love to see you watch them more.❤ Plus: next song recommendation: Untold loneliness from Wednesday's infidelity

Exploring some more of the corruption songs might be great, because a lot of them are very harmonic, and extremely complex. There are honestly almost corrupt versions of every character in base FNF, and a lot of them are great. Favorites include Lament, Dusk, Headshot, Bloodmoon, Hivemind, Null and Void, CHKDSK, Bloodlust, and ACCESS DENIED (Just to name a few, there's a lot of songs!). The songs also usually have either a slow and intense beat, or quick and frantic, and often go for more of an EDM feel but with lots of bass and drums.

Loved the vid! Tbh I wasn't expecting another FNF video but here we are. If you're looking for the most difficult ones to play, most happen to be horror-themed mods like "Wednesday's Infidelity", "Pibby Mod" or "Vs Sonic.Exe". If you want something that isn't horror, I recommend "FNF Indie Crossout" which features Cuphead, Undertale, and Bendy and the Ink Machine. Specifically, "Burning in Hell" which includes Undertale mechanics!

Ok, I'm going to go on a LOONG thing with this. A majority of the community don't actually make music or do anything music like in what they do, obviously there's quite a bit of musicians but there's some people who get into composition specifically with this community due to the fact they want to make stuff like what they see in either the base game or what they see in the modded community, I'm one of those people, but I personally want to start going towards making proper music that doesn't involve Friday Night Funkin, even knowing where I started getting into. A lot of people already had the knowledge going in, but almost a lot more people started learning as they got into the game. Also the thing with the notes, the quantanization (Don't know if that's spelt right or right at all) is a specific setting in some mods depending on the specific engine used for the mod. You'll notice if it's on or not based on whether or not the same note color appears in the different lanes, so specifically songs like Overdue in this video, doesn't have it on. Hope any of my rambling helps out man, keep up the reactions and try not to get too stuck on fnf. Don't want to be called an "fnf reaction KZreadr".

I am a beginner composer (solo, full DAW instrumentals, starting to get into vocals) with around 4 years of experience without any real education, really any genre that I feel like at the moment, and my biggest motivation to keep developing is a chance that one day someone invites me to some great music related project like FNF mods. Some FNF mod songs are just "singing to my soul", so I sometimes replay them for the experience of great music, visuals and fair challenge. My favorites are: Mario madness V2 - All stars, Abandoned, Paranoia. vs Tricky - EXPURGATION.

5:11 The answer to the 1st question is that the requirment to play good the game is good reflex a comfy positioning of the 4 required to play but ore importantly experience by starting for like very easy song and then upping the difficulty. 2 "how muxh time it takes" For someone who playes the game since 2021-2022 to get to his skill level is required probably something araiund +90 hours of gameplay and esperience but it all depends from the person becouse the hardest part is gollowing the speed of the notes and there are some peaple that are cut for the game and peaple that will take months to get to this level, but there are some songs with special mechanics that make the game a lot harder like the impostor song and its mecxhanic is rhat you cant miss more than 5 times and i mecvhanic like this will take way more than 150 hours to overcome, even i can hardly do it and it took me 1 hour to beat it and i already had 1 year of experience. 3rd question For me putting hours in this game is worth but its not the kind of game you play for like 10 hours straight becouse there isnt usually much content and it just gets boring but putting those 30-50 minuts once in a while helps a lot for caming the mind if you are stressed and hels with reflexes. and concentration And last question i can answer only for myself and considering my own experience on using instruments i tried playng the guitar and the drums and they are really calming but playng those intruments didnt gave me the adrenaline that some times this game gives soo i slowly started losing intrest. but i thing that its worth it putting some time in tryng to play these intrument becouse they are a really good hobby and for some becomes passion (Sorry if in the text there are some grammatical errors but im not that good at english soo i coud have made some mistakes)

As an avid FNF fan I personally dont play any instruments but Im def a big gamer so when this game came out I was super interested in it and played a whole bunch of mods with each mod I played I def got a better I would say the game took me a year or so for every mod I played without mechanics to be extremely easy when they add mechanics is what makes the gameplay part of it fun! 11:45 You only control one side and when ur focusing on ur own side u cant even see the other side so its not distracting at all at least for me 14:04 its all fan made the devs game is open source so ppl can modify it however they want and you would be shocked to see what the community has made!!!

I started playing the drums around 6 years ago. When the pandemic started, I had a lot of time to focus on improving my ability to play and around that time is also when FNF became popular. The average day for me was basically playing the drums and FNF. Funnily enough, this game helped me a lot with control of my individual fingers.

To answer the questions you asked in the 4 min mark. I have been playing rhythm games for the better part of 6 years. For me I have reached decent level competitively (game like Osu! mania) and play strictly for enjoyment now (Games like FNF). Aside from rhythm games I play percussion and have been for 9 years now. The rhythm aspect of it has helped greatly in my playing of rhythm games, but, just like with anything, it takes time and practice. to play games like FNF you don't need as much practice and just like with music just have fun with it. I still practice instruments and have even picked up some piano/guitar, but I am worse at those haha. I always love people getting into music and rhythm games. If you get into both then just enjoy it. Don't focus on if you are worse than someone else and just have fun :)
