They were humbled. I still remember (when they were still at their prime) how they responded to Mara during an interview for the group draw before M5. It was a bit rude. Their overflowing confidence was matched with arrogance. That's just how I felt. I'm glad they were humbled. They should learn from Ph teams, despite winning a lot of championships, the teams/players remained down to earth.

You surely have never heard anything negativwle from them when they were facing teams like Brazil and all, who were nothing but giving their best to win and also respects other regions. If Liquid Echo and Falcons AP Bren were to actually trashtalk, then they do have the permission to do so, as they have proven themselves already many times. Imagine winning the M4 and M5 World Championship Titles consecutively, and yet some stupid team decides to taunt them to that they're weak. Obviously it's a go-signal for them to talk back, not just by words, but through actions and results as well. The result? Both PH teams are dominating in their own respective groups, while the so-called "Sky Kings" are now high up there in the sky, riding their airplane back home.

It's because Onic ID has no real competition in Indonesia. Them being 4-peat champs means no one can challenge them in ID. Meanwhile in PH, we have Bren, Blacklist, Echo, and RSG PH dominating the international scene. Think of it, Kramm and Innocent of SRG are from TNC which is the weakest team in MPL PH. Same with MPTheKing, the core of SYS, from NXPE. Bottomline is, PH players are more skilled than other regions. That makes the difference. Everyone can adapt to the meta, but it's the players who makes the difference.

If you are having multiple champs in a row, that means you have no comp. If SRG can win 3-4 champs in a row, then you can say they have no comp.

ONIC needs competition in Indonesia. The gap between ONIC and MPL ID 2nd place EVOS is so huge that ONIC trolled with trash draft vs EVOS just to let them get 2 points. They're starting to get the same sickness as RRQ Akira. Back to back champion but destroyed in international stage.

Onic ain't improving and underestimated SYS. They reigned for 4 years in their region. There's no competition there, it's like the other teams are battling for 2nd place. Unlike PH, you can't have a three-peat, four-peat. The only team that came close is Blacklist International

Apparently there are no strong teams in indo to give good fight against onic, the only team that stand toe to toe with them was geek fam but now they don't have a god jungler. Hence since there are no one to give tough fight in their region so when they go int stage they somewhat don't shine, they remain the same as they where unlike other region like ph very tough teams and opponents so the consistently improve and learn so most of the time in mpl ph it becomes so sure that anyone who dominates in mpl ph they also automatically becomes the M champion. Like blacklist in m3, echo in M4 and Ap bren in M5. They were mpl ph champs of their respective seasons and they also took M championship as well

pretty standard answers you would expect from any teams, at the very least the coaches understood that they were a little over confident when facing SYS and onic ID is sort of well known to of test out certain heros potential or we can say hiding strats during the qualifiers, just that this time they didnt expect this results. SYS and SRG really gave onic a big run for their money 🤣

Well this a good lesson and a great loss to try even more harder not just onic every fucking teams in Indonesia. Don't slack off work harder. Don't let the fame get to your head.

Respecting a player hero pool is good but respecting it too much is bad. This is what they did in the pick and ban phase on the first game VS SRG, they've banned 5 jungler hero and that leaves Chip to be open for SRG who are in the first pick. After FNOC had done their picks and bans i know already that SRG will win the game 1 coz yumskie is a good Chip user and also an aggressive roamer and it reflected right away in the first few minutes of the game.

This is one of their disadvantages. The league has lack of competition to think that ONIC is very dominating in international. The other teams didn't step-up (besides GeekFam). I hope this is an eye opener for the other teams to need to focus on everything and not only relying on imports.

Sana maging eye opener sa buong liga nila yung pagkatalo ng pinaka malakas na manok nila. Kawawa din ang ONIC at the same time, kasi kulang sila sa challenge ng ibang teams sa liga nila (except GeekFam). Kung hindi lang nagchoke ang GeekFam, 100% mas maganda run nila sa ONIC kasi hindi lang sila sa PH teams nag hahanda. Tanggalin na din sana nila yung mga politics sa players esp. sa imports. Mga walang patience para bumuo ng chemistry, gusto agad maging top caliber team. Hindi nyo pwede asahan yung isa o dalawang player para bumuhat ng team.

its really a shame to see onic players not being themselves today. sanz making silly mistakes as if his micro is gone, kairi repeating the same mistakes, bush entering and retri gapped, kiboy sets which was just painful to see. cw always getting ganked since their trio mid is a liability, and lutpi tried his best but cant even do anything.
