Tbh I like it because I think jumpscares are insanely cheap in terms of horror, but I enjoy the characters enough.

@@beanoptodon i think the horror comes from anticipation more than anything else, yeah they jumpscares are a bit cheap, but its the ambiance, build up, and expectation that mad the scares work

FNAF world was amazing. I loved the "go around and collect characters" type style. And the way they all looked was phenomenal. And the way they still kept it creepy really takes the cake

The reason I don't like this game is because it is literally impossible to beat this game without a walk-through of some sort

You may be wondering why the Update 2 characters are so broken, well its postgame stuff and meant for the secret final boss, with Slasher having a chance of doing nothing, or 999999!

I know classic FNAF but this is the first time I see about that game. Chaotic and confusing.🤣

personally i love this game, i think its adorable and the text on the load screens under each animatronic is hilarious. some personal favorites include "SAY MY NAME!" for rwqfsfasxc (?), "because character quota" for endoplush, "cuter in person, still a killer" for springtrap, and just "jammin'!" for og bonnie

If the speedrun allows any ending then you can actually get the drowned ending the 2nd time you go into the 3rd subtunnel Ive just been playing this game alot and glad to see its getting some more exposure

You can also get the drowned ending trophy by finding an Easter egg in UCN, meaning you could get a sub 0

@@TheRealEncy I think it was just a fun little thing for Scott to do, you know? Like, something that doesn’t have to be connected to the lore. Scott was probably getting tired of the original fnaf formula, so he made this.

@@YourInternetHistory676 i agree. It was a victim of an expectation because it was a FNAF game. If it was another indie horror that came out you know it wouldve blown up even if for a short time cause of all the YTers that do the one offs of horrors. I remember watching MatPat play it live on GTlive for the first time and because they talk to chat so much they discovered idling on the text boxes unlocked the glitched text mode hinting at the creepy FNAF connection. It was such an amazing feeling to be there live and react with them to it like right after launch. I think it is my favourite FNAF game because of the creativity and showing how much more FNAF could be. If you made it this far my summation is FNAF world is truly a gem but hated because it wasnt a "FNAF" game. I think it paved the way for FNAF future titles to be able to get further from the formula of the originals with FNAF world being a shield for hatred of those changes since hey "it could be fnaf world" Thanks for coming to my ted talk and I will next watch a video on how to make myself not write tangents because of excitement

@@jewels3846 The game was hated because it was shit at launch. You couldn’t see what moves did and you couldn’t see party stats. In addition, the game looked vastly different than how it was teased. That’s just the problems that were alleviated with update 2. The game still has ridiculously long loading times. There’s immense power creep with more bottom row characters and especially update 2 characters (this video is a prime example of that power creep). The grinding time for getting all characters is ridiculous too (even with the find characters chip enabled). The game was not a victim of unfair expectations. It was a shit game at launch and it got an appropriate response from people for being shit. Update 2 fixed some issues but that doesn’t change the fact that at best this is a middle of the road 5/10 game (post Update 2).

Yo people know about this game afterall? One of the most unpopular opinions I have is that fnaf world is my favourite fnaf game. Fixed party plus hard mode is drugs, also nuzlocking this game is actually pretty fun

I always loved how chaotic some of the later game fights could get in fnaf world.

"Glitch simulator" is probably the most accurate metaphor for SB I've ever heard

as someone who's played this game a lot, I wonder why FNaF 57 is the faster option opposed to Foxy.exe to get Nightmarionne, or Chica's Magic Rainbow to get Animdude or Chipper. the 4th Wall attack that Anim and Nightmarionne have deals damage faster than Jack-O-Bomb to my memory and ignores defense on top of that, and I'm at least _pretty_ sure the time between the minigames is roughly the same, if not faster depending on how good you are at rage games (CMR). really the only reasons I can think of for that is the pathing in Halloween Backstage and Slasher, but that 1 in 10 chance right at the final boss sounds like a HUGE risk to take when it could cost the whole run, I would much rather something be slower but more consistent personally. plus, Chipper has Hocus Pocus, which could really speed up some random encounters (especially in &* with the glitched enemies) by changing the enemies into weaker enemies that you could one-tap with another attack from more or less any other character. maybe if you revisit this, you could try workshopping a run around those?

I would guess the reason Chipper nor Animdude are used is specifically because of the difficulty of CMR. It would suck to lose an overall good run to a few deaths in CMR, so I'd think going for Jack-O-Bomb would both be safer and faster

@@CreamyWaxGun that's fair enough, but CMR can be learned, and the only spots where there's any real luck factor involved are sections with the eye lasers and the very end. all told, it can easily be under world record time if you get a good run there and 4th Wall is actually worth it like I think it is

After all these years I still don’t understand why this game is so overhated, it accomplishes its job as a spinoff and built the bridge to SL with easter eggs, it’s absolutely oozing with Scott’s charm

I'm glad to know more people are knowing about fnaf world. I love it despite not even Scott himself liking it.

Once when I played fnaf world, I beat Scott with 1 attack, and the secret chipper In 2 attacks Slasher is busted when you have more then one person who can use it

I used unscrew 2 and also one dinked Nightmare foxy is always just using unscrew 2 and succeeding

Tbh for what fnaf world is I find it pretty enjoyable. The rpg elements are pretty unique and the stylized characters are cute. There's even lore and secrets (relevant to the time). I really hope someone brings out this game's potential in the future

Loving the return of the FNAF content!!

I was planning on doing speedruns on this game so this helped out a lot! Also Great Commentary. I laughed at the glitch world bit.

Believe it or not, if FNAF World never existed, I never would have looked at the actual franchise... and if I Never did that I never would have had my friends or love horror as much as I do... I used to be scared of the idea of horror things but after seeing FNAF World... I thought that maybe FNAF wouldn't be so bad... then I watched... enjoyed... and now love the games... I have no idea what my life would be like if FNAF World never existed... All I know is that I would be alone and board and despise the idea of any horror-related thing...

First I start talking about FNAF in the comments of a FNAF video, then I start talking about plans for giving FNAF world a spot on my channel, and then I see this! Thank you!

As someone who absolutely loves and has played FNaF world consistently since launch, I’m excited to learn about and try some of these things! Though I don’t know if I’ll ever do a speed run. I also don’t know why purple guy isn’t a part of this run besides the extra time, he has speed song AND slasher

When I was younger, I loved fnaf world because when I was little I was a total wuss and couldn't take a jumpscare or two so all the fnaf games where a no go for me. But then fnaf world, a fnaf game without the spook, came out and I loved it.

tbh FNaF world needs an update 3 & 4 EDIT: these speedruns could probably be faster if you go for nightmarionne instead of jack o' bonnie, since foxy.EXE is way quicker & easier to do, + you now have access to 4th wall a rly OP move that allows you to get rid of enemies way quicker, & most of the enemies can be killed with 1 or 2 4th walls, though if you want to use nightmarionne you better know where auto: mimic is since it'd be a HUGE help

I used to looooove FNAF World back in 2016.

Many people say they don't like FNAF World, including Scott Cawthon himself who made the game, but I've always loved this game and the fan games that came of it. I watched DanTDM play the game fully through, and I watched FusionZGamer play it's fan games. I've had my own computer for a while and I'm really surprised I haven't gotten FNAF World or the fan games myself to play. Watching this reminds me to do that, so that's on my play list now.

The sub worlds are so chaotic. I am sure they make sense if you play normally. But only knowing this game from this video it's maddening.

Awesome vid, Tetra! I love speedrun videos. By chance, do you play Megaman Battle Network? I notice you use music from the series a lot in your videos. I know the youtube algorithm is not friendly to Megaman, but seeing a Megaman video from you would be really cool, especially if its focused on the BN series.

Love how the entire run is based around "How fast can i spam Jackoboom?"

If people are still playing this game, a tactic I did during the security owl boss fight was I had jack o Bonnie, toy Freddy, toy chica and foxy on my first team and withered Bonnie, freddy, ENDO 1 and crying child on my second team. If I could attack with foxy, then I would use jumpscare, and use toy Freddy’s speed song move and toy chica’s birthday move, and Jack o Bonnie’s jack o bomb move. If jack o Bonnie died, I would switch to my second team to use crying child’s gift box move so he could revive jack o Bonnie. I would do that over and over until security owl died.

I love this game.

TWRE actually doesnt happen from walking diagonally, it happens from walking at the log with the bird, so walking at it directly works

I'm pretty sure Freddy In Space is actually FNAF 57 and FIS2 is actually the 58th game in the franchise... I think that is the earliest FNAF squall release Scott has every created!

The foxy plane minigame takes actually less time than freddy in space, it give jack o chica that gives the jack o bombs aswell
