Aside from being the definition of irony that mat can never truly escape fanf, it’s easy to forget mat’s choir and theatre background until he does something like this.

The difference of facial expression between Gwen and MatPat at the lasts “the dark remains” is just perfect, for Mat it’s like he just realized something truly diabolical and evil, and for Gwen, it’s like she realizes that there’s no escape for her

In the previous song, Elizabeth said that the program being installed was "40 million kilobytes". That means that Glitchtrap's program is only about 38 gigabytes (divide 40 mil by 1024 to convert to MB, then by 1024 again for GB), which in turn means that hes about 1/3 the size of a modern call of duty game. The lore implications of purple guy, William Afton, springtrap, and glitchtrap all being separate entities and existing at the same time would drive matpat insane if it was canon to the games

Love that we're starting to look a little more into evil dirtbag with a chainsaw's history, and how he wasn't always like this. It'd be interesting to learn how he evolved to be mr killy guy

I've always loved it when Gwen sings, she plays her roles so well and her voice is full of power and emotion It looks like the folks got their wish that Matpat would sing. I was caught off guard but not disappointed. I loved it. It's always great to have our favorite retired Theorist dad but to hear him sing was the icing on the cake Seriously, RE, you've outdone yourselves. I was hooked start to finish

I feel like I just watched part one of a movie, my goodness, I've missed this series so much. Dark Remains is my new favourite song, and Gwen looking absolutely stunning and slaying the vocals as usual. They weren't kidding when they said Baby can sing and dance and was made to entertain. 🤭 Lovely to hear Stupendium, it took me a minute but I recognised them when their intonation came through. 😋 It still shocks me that Xander Mobus is the voice of Freddy. 😂 Love seeing MatPat back in his bear costume where he belongs, hearing him sing so low was a surprise but he sounds just as amazing as always. 😌 So good, so good, SO GOOD!!!

MatPat's line to Nate when he stabs him is me when I'm finally fed up with everything wrong with the world: "What I'm out of is PATIENCE!"

Holy crap. What a RIDE!!! Love the whole premise, kept me engaged the whole time. The edits, the sound effects, acting, etc was all SO good!! You guys should be proud of this project!!

Was anyone else just obsessing over how good MatPat is this entire musical? Whenever he was on screen he was just perfect, and then the song was a masterpiece! I can't say enough good things about this musical. Everything about it is just so good; from the acting to the music. By far my favorite musical RE has put out this year; great job RE! Thank you for your hard work; it doesn't go unnoticed!

WOW! This was so amazing! Dark Remains gripped me from the beginning till the end. And I really mean the beginning; the ЯE logo bit was so cool. It immediately set the tone and pulled me into the story. I truly enjoy the mix of suspense and humor. Everyone's acting was superb and the costumes and sets were so cool. And as for the song, oh man, I love it so much! Gwen's voice sounds so beautiful. And I'd only heard MatPat sing in a higher pitched voice, so his deeper voice surprised me. He sounded really good as well. When I heard the song for the first time, I was so much vibing to it. Since then I listened to it quite a lot and I can't get enough of it. I'm very excited to see how this incredible prequel series continues. I hope y'all are very proud of this marvelous FNAF chapter, as you should be. Thanks so much for giving all us Encounterers this gem to enjoy! And good luck finalizing 'Shadows of Agony'! 🧡

Katelyn replacing Adriana, even in the recap, was a bit of a startle. But I can understand that imperatives makes it sometimes re-casts are needed, and she did a great job. What I was NOT ready for (in a very good way), was our dear Stupendium making a voice appearance! Their "overly protocol-centric medical/science specialist" voice is always a delight :) And of course all of the returning cast, this is wonderful.

I really loved Mat Pat singing, it is very in sync with his acting. Gwen is a great singer and I never regret subscribing here

Slightly soppy comment but this is genuinely amazing! So much planning so many people and sets you guys couldn’t have continued the story any better than this. 100% worth the wait, can’t wait to see how it continues!
