To everyone that doesn't understand the mechanics: Freddy - in the 3rd song, golden freddy hitting notes will push back your healthbar. Bonnie - press the door icons or you get insta-killed. Chica - in the second song, hitting the pizza notes will cause pizzas to cover your screen. In the third song collecting pizzas will increase your pizza counter, chica will take bites every now and then and remove 6 pizzas, if you have 5 or less pizzas you die. Cupcakes will remove one pizza, if you have 0 pizzas hitting a cupcake will kill you. Foxy - the slash notes will kill you if you dont hit them, in song 3 you have to hold space when the icon is on screen or you die. Happiest day - the gray notes will deal a chunk of health. Hope that clears some things up!

the insta kill is kinda bs wish it took damage or some types of damage like bleed, like if foxy slashes you, you'd bleed or if your ship gets hit you can press a button or keep pressing notes not to sink, for bonnie its the same thing but to press a Certain type of button or press notes to idk get out of bonnies grasp, for chica they should just explain the details of the cupcakes and pizza a little more

Just adding one thing, the last song for Freddy (Golden Freddy song) does have one mechanic where Golden Freddy hitting notes moves the life bar in his favor just like the player hitting notes moves it in their favor.

*TIP*If a mod ever has a " space to dodge " mechanic, go to options, gameplay , keybinds and set them to left=d,down=f,up=j and right=k. Most fnf engines have dfjk as default input method, and you can still use the arrow keys if you change your keybinds.

This mod looks so good, it's just a shame about the constant 1-hit mechanics... if it was like "if you hit this, you take damage" it wouldn't be as bad but the fact you can just lose all of your progress to this singular note is so frustrating. Another thing I wish modders would implement, especially to long levels like The Happiest Day is checkpoints so you wouldn't be sent back to the start of of a 6 minute song, especially one with 1-hits

I feel like a lot of modders these days forget that there are players who aren't spectacular at this game. More and more mods these days don't even let you change difficulty, and in a lot of the ones that do, it's often the exact same chart with just a lower scroll speed. Which doesn't really help as much as someone might think it would. I don't think mods are getting too hard, per say. As some players are still beating mods at their highest difficulties. Rather, the easy mode of mods simply aren't easy enough.

Well it's still pretty happy.

I’m not sure who else noticed it, but the animatronic in the back of Bonnie’s stage is probably a callback to the rumor that went around where people thought there was a dog animatronic in the parts & service camera (as this is where the stage takes place). An ever-so-clever detail, if I do say so myself!

I like to think, as Ryan said that animatronic seem more fun in this universe, that rather the children souls are what makes the animatronics so expressive as they missed out on there childhood when they were killed so bf rapping with them as a game makes them happy

The songs in this mod are so amazing i found myself jamming out every time and the effort they put into the cutscenes and stuff is so cool. It's very challenging yeah, but it's fun too also during the lost at sea song i swear i can hear Jotaro's theme and if so that is an amazing jojo reference

You can see the insta kill mechanics wearing Ryan out during this, it really sucks that more mods ateadopting these insta death mechanics, it doesn’t make your mod better, it makes it artificially harder

The is probably the one FNF mod that actually has a shit ton of effort put into. Props to the people who made this, because the songs, on top of the high qualtiy animations, must have taken them QUITE a while

Pro tip: If your monitor has a 120 refresh rate obviously make sure it's set to that then in the Friday Night Funkin setting find your framerate (If it has it) then change the refresh rate to 120 or higher. Doing this will make the notes easier to see and hit those harder notes. (If you do this already then ignore this comment).

Usually in psych engine, spamming during your turn would toggle anti-spam mode meaning no notes would hit until you stop spamming.

I feel that most of the frustration with these new mechanics would've been much less so if they were explained better. Maybe, instead of entire sets of difficulty changes, there could be 2 separate difficulty settings. One where you select tempo and one where you select number/frequency of special notes. This way, everyone gets the best and worst of both worlds. Wonder if anyone has a similar or improved idea? Edit: spelling and auto correct

Hey, Ryan, you play it how you want to. I’m glad you were able to show me such a well made game. You are a great Friday night funker in my eyes, either way

personally, i sort of agree with your take on one hit notes. i think sometimes they can be fun, and this mod tries to be creative with the mechanics. however, creative =/= fun, because by god if chica’s mechanic isn’t the least fun i’ve had while playing this game then i don’t know what is. it’s creative, yes, but christ is it terrible to actually play with. foxy’s second mechanic is easier for me probably because i use DFJK but with arrow keys it’s definitely hard, and bonnie’s isn’t difficult, it’s just an excuse for so many double notes. overall, an amazing mod visually, but some of the mechanics they implement make the experience drop a bit (chica’s makes me SEETHE). 8/10

My one problem with this mod, aside from the lag, is that a few of the characters don't look right at points. They have this really unnatural green outlines, almost like they've been greenscreened. Oh, and BF and GF look wrong in 3D, but other than that, this looks like an incredible but frustrating mod.

I love that in the background of the first Bonnie song you can see sparky the dog in the doorframe. I feel like these little homages to the game's history and hoaxes really just make this mod complete.

The mod was alright, especially with the cutscenes, but it does way too many one hit notes. If you want a mod that's very difficult for note patterns and speed, play the Camellia mod. There's no gimmicks like that, you just need speed and endurance.

Honestly Chica's look of UTTER DISGUIST and condescendence always makes me laugh and reminds me of the Simpsons' "pathetic" meme, which just makes me laugh more. Also her third song is by far my fave from this game. Great video and I'm always amazed at Ryan's dexterity and skill, I have problems with the base fnf game's normal difficulty and he is here doing this without almost any effort (bar the one-shot stuff)

this mod was... INSANE all of them in one song thier voices the bit where they do a little jumpscare was nice

I see what people mean about the greenscreen outline, sure it could be better in someplaces, but you would have to respect atleast the amount of effort that went into making the mod itself.

This is actually, really, really cool lmao. I love it when there's actual good FNF Mods made by the community that I would consider a proper mod like this one, with detail and loooads of hardwork put into it. Mods like these give me hope that there's still talented people within the community that still keeps the FNF vibe.

During "Walk the Plank", Ryan mentioned the DAGames poster but the whole song is DAGames song. I don't remember but the name but it has the chorus of "It's Five Nights at Freddy's 3!" I love the Easter egg!

That mod I think is over-rated, yeah it's good but definitely not one of the highest effort mods.

I love it that the song description in happiest day is "Freddy and friends are tired of your shit", literally the most fnf description ever.

If there's one FNF mod that I think you should try out, when it releases, is the "Platformer Panic" mod. From what they've shown so far, it looks really good. It has characters from all different types of platformer games including Super Mario, Crash Bandicoot, Sonic The Hedgehog, DK, etc.

There are tons of Freeplay songs you missed, you don't need to complete every week to play them, also easier difficulties don't remove the mechanics but they lessen them Edit: by the so I went and played this mod not long after this video came out, and I beat Bonnie and Foxy’s last songs but I couldn’t beat happiest day or Chica’s last song, but the reason I wanted to make this edit is because I wanted to mention that on lower difficulties you can actually survive missing more than one of Bonnie’s door notes, and for Foxy you can just hold down space bar for the whole song and it works, although Foxy’s sword notes are an insta kill no matter what, however on Normal there’s less of them, and on easy they don’t exist. I don’t use arrow keys or WASD but instead I use DFJK which makes it easy to hold space bar because it’s actually sorta where my thumbs naturally rest, so altogether, for Bonnie use normal difficulty, for Foxy use DFJK so you can hold space bar, and for Chica I have no idea I think you’re just sorta screwed
