Yeah. And that is a fate worse than any human can face. He is a sociopath he doesnt know better. By the time he does realize it's already to late. It's clear he's a sociopath from the get go. Sociopaths can sometimes have a conscience or not but it's rare for them to show emotions because they're numb. Sound familiar? Anyways they were made that way the most common way is from severe abuse

If you think about it, you can use this to make him a manipulative villian rather then a regretful one, it could just be him trying to manipulate a person to gain sympathy. He never actually says he wouldn't kill the kids Again, just that he wouldn't go back.

Realistically this is in the book series that he actually regrets and I'm pretty sure in the video games he does as well just by how he's so enraged by his past. A sociopath is what he is. Not a psychopath. Sociopaths are made the way they are for better or worse.

Uhm.. Why do they feel bad towards william, he literally had no regret killing the kids, plus he is glitchtrap and he's still trying to kill gregory so he had no regrets. Did they fall for William's trap? Because there's lots of hints in the song that he had no regret. 1st. Its literally obvious, he was trying to manipulate somebody in the video to kill 2nd. "If I could rewind, I would never come back, to the place at the time. 3rd. "Why do they get to go and why do I have to stay?" he literally knew the reason so its confirmed he was trying to manipulate somebody Nice video.. But your AU is a bit stereotyped(No hate! This is precisely the reason why I've avoided doing reactions in the future. Because just like the hundreds of other channels it comes off as sterotypical. Because it does the same thing that those hundreds of other channels do. Normally, reactions shouldn't represent the AU. In my case, I tried to connect them and stuff, but it's just a headache. I've basically avoided doing it now because there's a universal misunderstanding. If people really, really want to know the justification for the things happening in reaction videos. They should look towards any videos that represent the AU they've created as whole and not a reaction of 'said' characters. As sterotypcial as my universe appears to be from the surface of these reaction videos. In my humble opinion, it's a farcry from everyone else's. Of course that's just an opinion, and an honest one. I have over 3 volumes with 6+ episodes in each, with most over 10 minutes long, that go into many more details explaining why the characters present in the video act in any way shape or form. In fact, from the start they never cared about William and a good portion of Volume 1 and any reaction I created around the time of Volume 1's creation showcase the FNAF crew hating William and not what is shown here as this video took place after the fact in Volume 2 and 3. The moral of the point is, people don't do progressive actional stories. When they create AUs it starts with everything already apparent. Meaning they create the FNAF crew either hating William or forgiving or favoring William from the very start. I, on the other hand never did that. I made it so that they hated his guts at first, however, since this is an 'Alternate Universe' first and foremost. They learned of details and events I created myself that changed their viewpoint and understanding of past events. Not simply "I forgive you" and then they become friends. I hope this sheds some light on the sterotypical nature of this universe, while it does convey the same ray of emotions as those other Gachatuber's AUs. I have, at least, tried to change that in my own way and not just blindly follow along like the rest of them.

@@ytazchris0737 I've kept them vague. You'd only really know if you watched any of the AU videos I've made. Currently, the only 'on-screen' apparent relationships I've revealed are Puppet(Charlotte) x Golden Freddy(Cassidy), William X Clara and Bonnie x Chica. Bonnie x Chica I never actually said directly, but in almost every scene they are in, they are seen either holding hands or being beside each other. I'm not going to go explicit with any of my ships, either. I keep their interactions strictly professional. They may blush, and say things to each other now and then, but aside from that. It's only there to keep the audience aware of it. As for other ships. I'll reveal more as time goes on. I'm still processing most of this kind of stuff. The community has a very...strong...opinion on this topic.

People often deceive or misinterpret what the purpose of an Alternate Universe actually is. In most cases, all AUs are fanfics. Because you are still changing events that aren't a part of the games. Even if the AU in question establishes itself around the canon. It can still be considered fanfic. There isn't a way around this. Also, you seem to have missed something, as there is a difference between general fanfiction and AU Fanfic. And I do fall under AU Fanfiction, as I've made very minor tweaks to certain parts in the canon without changing the course it takes. Only people who actually spent the time to watch my AU videos will have some knowledge of this. But the reason Golden Freddy even says that, is because I made it so Glitchtrap is theoretically created earlier. Using FNAF concepts to possess and commit the same murders he essentially does in the games that set up the canon-lore in the first place. It's called Cause and Effect. In the canon lore, William is obviously a killer(That we can agree) which he kills kids, which sets everything in motion that we know from the games. In my AU, William isn't a killer, he's innocent and kind, but is possessed by Glitchtrap and still kills kids, which causes the same events to occur, regardless. Everything is the same, only certain things are different. So the 'reason' Golden Freddy even says that, is because in my AU. It's different and untrue. William did not deserve that in my AU, however, Glitchtrap, given the chance 'should' have been in his place.

I'm not like other people, a quick look at my channel home page is all you need to understand. I'm story-oriented and I will reveal how I did it. The funniest thing about this, not in a bad way is, I'm literally on the final episode that reveals the very thing you are questioning.
