im actually unsure about that one... it seems that the demon puppet forced him to swap bodies. Afton had probably been controlled since our little horror story after doing a small satanic ritual

Do you seriously expect the animatronics that can’t tell the difrence betwen a guy wearing a mask animaronics to be able to tell the difrence betwen the nightguards? In the books they can hardly tell the difrrence betwen teenagers and adults

They are robots the fact that they are possed by kids doesn’t change the fact they have the body and the capabileties of robots they have face scanners from 1900’s their is no way they would be able to tell the difrence in middle of the night. Also new OFFICAL art reveals that all the nightguards and William wear white uniforms
