I picked up a Masada Slim as my first gun back in June. Still working up to be accurate enough to feel like I can responsibly carry, but I've put a few hundred rounds through it with no issues. Another note about the slim is that it takes CZ 75 mags.

@@ayushchoubey635 It does not, from what I can tell. I believe IWI does advertise that the Masada Slim takes IWI Jericho mags, though. It’s more something that people in the gun community have discovered (Jericho mags are modeled after CZ-75) mags, so they work interchangeably

@@ayushchoubey635 Yeah, it’s confusing. Full size Masada has its own proprietary mag, I think. I think it’s a double-stack, whereas the Masada Slim is a stack-and-a-half magazine

I been looking for a review of these two because I’m been waiting the reflex but the slim seems to shoot better from the reviews is seen, great video

Thanks man, I appreciate that. And it has less recoil than the reflex but accuracy wise it shoot them the same. Plus the reflex can shrink in size which is always a plus for deep concealment. Respect and thanks for watching

I've owned both and I will say the bottom of the Reflex grip digs into my palm. Not very comfortable to shoot. I much prefer the Masada Slim. Full grip. Bottom of the grip is past the palm and is very comfortable to shoot. Also standard, comes optic ready. I think it's much easier to conceal than the Reflex. You have to use the flush mag on the Reflex to beat the Masada slim on concealability. SPN is right. The masada slide is a little thicker but that part is tucked away in your pants anyway. The grip is super slim and I can conceal the Masada easily. Also, with the Masada, you can carry a spare 16 round CZ 75 mag. The masada slim will reliably shoot the CZ 75 mags.

Haven't found the Reflex at my LGS yet, so can't compare, but I absolutely love my Masada S. It and my Shield Plus are my two carry options - one to wear while shooting the other. I can't say enough good things about the Masada S. Its only drawback is reassembly, but once you've solved that it's a joy to own.

I can not disagree, I have a black non MRD, and both colors in MRD. I fell in love with the hammer fired trigger👍 Awesome review.👍

I was checking out the Reflex at my local shop the other day. It seems like a nice piece.

Just an FYI for new or perspective FN Reflex buyers. BraDec Holsters is now offering holsters for the Reflex. His holsters are very well made, and run considerably less than many of his competitors. I just ordered a customer kryptex with a claw, and monobloc clip and it was just under 50 bucks! BraDec is great, he ships fast and I've ordered 3 or 4 over the years. Never had an issue. Also, I love my Reflex. It's awesome

I have 3 FN Reflex's, and I very much value your opinion. I have watched your reviews for months now, wish I was a Glock fan...🤷‍♂

Just like I have multiple 26’s and 27’s! I love having multiple of my favorite gun. And you made a good choice with 3 solid, reliable, well made pistols. The reflex is extremely underrated. Respect! And who knows, maybe you’ll end up one..

Thank you for actually putting out Reflex content. The low left issue seems to make it hard to really find any content about it other than the typical bs reviews by big channels who get a kick back, or people who hate it immediately because of the AWFUL sights by FN, which is understandable.

I shot both of those guns and I picked the Masada over the FN immediately, it was due to the magazine being part of the grip. Felt a little distracting to me, both awesome though.

Ive shot my friend's reflex alot too, i would agree that the trigger break is very different, takes a bit getting use to but once you do it's very nice. I do hope to try the masada slim one day though

I have the Slim with a 407k on it. Great shooter with factory mags. But CZ75 extended mags throw off the balance of the gun in my opinion. Big difference to me. The best edc that I own is the Springfield XDM Elite 3.8 OSP. Smooth as butter.

Masada Slim is better in every way. With a Holosun HE407k-gr this thing is dead nuts accurate with minimal recoil!!

To you 1911 folks, the trigger is VERY familiar👍

There have allegedly been several cases of rusting with both finishes of the FN Reflex. Can you look into this?

Reflex is hammer-fired which is a plus.

@@7prs965as a mostly hammer user to me it feels more familiar and I can tell better when the round is going to go off. That’s just me though. Striker fired is great too. But it’s cool to have a “hammer” in this same like package

I wish FN would come out with a 13rd mag like the hellcat. Then you could have deep concealment with flush fit, the 15rd for winter carry, and the 13rd for everything else

I like the reflex, but I had to send mine to FN after two days because it had failures to feed on the range, which wasn’t a big red flag because it might have needed a break in, but when I cleaned it after shooting and put it back together it didn’t rack rounds like at all, it would halfway rack and stop, not even bumping the slide made it feed

7 or so months ago l was considering the Masada slim the PSA Micro Dagger and the Stoeger STR-9mc l like FN but really do not care at all for the reset of the Reflex l ended up with the STR-9mc and l have no disappointments so far it has been more than awesome and costed 350 dollars out the door don't care about rails or optics on any micro size semiautomatics now if your talking about a 4+ inch or larger semiautomatic then that's a different story

The Reflex has a PVD coating, not Cerakote. PVD is a Physical Vapor Deposition coating that is titanium based. It’s 1-5 microns thick.

How has the PVD finish on the Reflex slide holding up? Is it just staining or actually coming off?

Damn the Reflex has Glock corners! I'll take the Masada.

I made my FN REFLEX MRD my EDC. Put a HOLOSUN 507K on using a Black Point wing holster. ALL MY WEAPONS ARE BLACK,TACTICAL REASONS..GREAT GUN .Made for deep concealment. Can't beat the trigger, GET THE REFLEX. PS IT'S A VERY SEXY LOOKING GUN.

Yes - lots of talk about iron sights being off, extractor issues, ultra-light trigger pulls.

The hard part is I just want to buy all of them LOL....

it was between these 2 for me last year- Reliability is everything so when i heard a batch of the fn's were unreliable I'm glad i went with the 9s. the fn did feel great in the hand I'll admit but it's overpriced and just not something i could choose over the 9s due to possible reliability and quality issues as well

So far since my last comment I've found 2 people with issues in a muddy river tactical video and the hrfunk trigger reset issue. could be lemons or user error but again I never saw any issue with a 9s and it's cheaper so I went with that. I held the fn at my gun store (because they had no 9s and he was recommending an alternative) and probably would've went with it (before seeing any of those things) if it wasn't for the price

@@Kbone2012 I've found other neg videos too, but like spn said it's just part of the game. It just wasn't what met my needs personally, I wanted a longer grip and I don't pocket carry. chances are you'll get a good one and it may work for you

I spoke to IWI in Pennsylvania. I was told by the customer service rep that they are waiting for a shipment from Israel. He also explained that the company moved their manufacturing facility a few hours away from the original location. When I asked him if the war situation currently happening was having an effect he felt that it was possible but not likely because they have been waiting quite awhile for the pistols.
