I got me one of these after your review. Maybe I’m going to replace the tires with 5.5“ Dubro Balloon tires. Well il try the originals first.

Mine is the most fun in the wind. Mix a heavy rubber band with the springs to keep from losing them. Wing tips are fragile here in the desert so I glued a little hard plastic on the tips. I imagine you grass flyers wont have to worry about that. Man I love this plane. Its even nicer when you upgrade the esc and motor. After crashing all my warbirds I went back to something that's easy to fly and forgiving. Cant go wrong with this plane!

That battery time is awesome !! Lights are bright in the low light too ….. Very cool

I replaced the wheels with the much softer wheels from the Arios Grand Tundra. They fit exactly on the PA-18. Now the landings are much smoother.

You've just answered my question. I have a Tundra. I put the softer wheels on it because it bounces on landing with the foam wheels. What to buy? FMS or Grand Tundra?

This plane is awsome I put the reciever in that came out of my pt-17 stearman with safe and does really well and yes it includes floats

Absolutely love mine, same kinda performance but I did add 20g to the nose as it seemed a bit “taily” to me with anything less than a 4000 in, now she flies 👌. Best STOL plane I have and I have a few!

John T I got one too and am planning to put a 5200 mah pack in it. That should work well then I assume? Should give me more flighttime and power as well.

I ordered one from Amazon at 20% off! That's $200 bucks! I'm so excited.

I am a beginner-intermediate pilot. I am deciding between this plane and the Turbo Timber. I have no interest in acrobatics; I like scale and STOL flying. Which plane is more fun to fly? With flaps deployed with both planes fly equally slow?

I fly with 5000 tyrnigy nano tech plus battery 70C 4s - 13 minutes of intensive aerobatics or 24 minutes relaxing flying. I finish when cells are areound 3.3-3.4

NOTHING BETTER (FMS) THAN THE BEAVER 2000mm FROM HIGHWINGS.I DON'T HAVE ONE,BUT A GUY FROM THE AIRFIELD GAVE TO ME TWICE FOR A TESTFLY(BECAUSE OF MY FLYING SKILLS) WITH 6S 5,8A AND 6,0A.NOT ONLY THE FLIGHT WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR EVEN FOR BEGINERS,BUT I THINK YOU CAN FLY WITH A 6S 6600Mah 30C AND INCREASE FLIGHT TIME W/OUT SCREW UP FLYING CHARACHTERISTICS!AS ALWAYS GOOD FLIGHT PILOT RYAN!!

I am torn now between getting this or the kingfisher. Either way I will have a gyro in it. Your video makes me want the this plane instead.

Will it work well with 4s 2200?

If you have ever got to fly in a real cub it’s like riding a motorcycle with wing😀

I bought one. This is getting way out of control. 😂especially when you can’t fly due to shit weather.
