FMS FCX24 K5 Blazer First Upgrades! (And First Breakage!)

I have been having a blast with the FMS FCX24 K5 Blazer, ,but it is now time to start the upgrades! First to go was the big chrome bumpers and installed the aftermarket off road bumper that came with the truck on the preorder special. I then added the roof rack to the rear top and made some small bungee cords to hold down cargo, currently the spare tire from the Atlas 6X6. I liked seeing how on other peoples K5 Blazers that they used the lightbar from the roll bar and attached it to the top of the roof right above the windshield, when used with the roof rack I think it looks great!
The last thing I did was probably the most important upgrade for any RTR rig, a new set of wheels and tires! I got a set of the Injora Mud Terrain M/T in a #3 softness compound. I decided to mount them on some stamped steel black wagon wheels from RC4WD. I also reversed them so the truck will have a much wider stance!
During the test crawl I got the truck jammed between two rocks and instead of doing a "hand of God" recovery I pushed on the throttle and snapped the front axle yoke! I should have guessed that with a heavy hard body and much grippier tires something could break, oh well!

Just got my blazer yesterday in all black. I absolutely love it. But ill be dipped if the front yoke popped ONE HOUR IN! Creepin on the couch! Grrrr

Awesome choice, I really like the black one too! I’m sure it was my fault for getting it stuck between a couple of rocks and hitting the throttle, probably shouldn’t have done that! Thanks for watching!
That is crazy good omg that looks awesome now i absolutely love scale stuff the shocks are a catch 22 the soft wabble looks awesome on camera but performance for drivers it's very annoying when the shocks let it roll all the time sorry to hear about the breakage nothing worse than breaking the new one ..... a gift arrived yesterday 💪 can't thank you enough no one has ever sent me anything on the channel I'll do the jelly challenge on camera I'll get to the vid soon as i can bro thank you again so much 👊

Yeah looks awesome love what you did with the rack and light bar, haven’t use the rack on none of mine yet I have three , Got the black one orange and white and the first modded silver one looks pretty awesome I did put the rollbar and light bar on the orange and the silver one I just put the light bar on the rollbar. Appreciate the video I’ll watch for more

Thanks Andrew! That silver edition sounds sweet! I wasn't going to add the roof rack at first but then seen other guys adding that and the lightbar, thought it was pretty cool, I want to find some mini accessories to eventually put up there! I also got a set of the steel Drive shaft just ate put in yet ain’t broke nothing yet

Ah, they make steel replacements, I already picked up the stock part. If I break another I'll need to look into those!
