Nigerian political office holder are full of arrogance. They are unquestionable and accountable to no one! What is most annoying is that the judicial system in Nigeria would 'speedily prosecute Bob bla bla bla'😳 rather than the 'Elephant' before our eyes🤔

In the U.S where Nigeria always brag that they copy the U.S democratic Federal system of government, there is no conflict between the authorities of the institition. In the U.S the FBI or Federal Authorities has Powers over Local enforement authorities. The U.S have state police, local or city police force. The State Police and Local Police have no Allegiance to the Governors or the mayors.The Local and state police swore allegiiance to State and the U.S constitution. In the U.S , State Governors and mayors can be arrested, charged and convicted of crimes, both by the State and the Federal government. A good example was Rod Blagojevich who was a former Governor of the State of Illinois here in the U.S, was impeached, removed from office , convicted, and incarcerated for 8 years. Nigeria practice in real sense a unitary style of Governmnent with a Central Policing and a Federal Government control . There are lots of many years of proven good governance from the U.S Nigeria Could copy and Fit to work for their system of Governance.

Im not a legal practitioner, but i think the judiciary should upgrade their system by inputting online, the judgement of each and every decided case and pending cases so if the defendant rush to another court to obtain illegal retraining order, the court can refer him back to the his case pending in another court. This will prevent accused from running from one court to the order so as to hinder justice

In America, if state or, county or city police wanted to arrest someone, and the FBI intervain, all other police will vacate the case to FBI to handle because federal police is now involved. So with this understanding in place in the establishment of state police, i don't think establishment of state police in Nigeria should be a problem that governors will be able to use them against opponents without check and balance from Nigerian Police
