This is NOT AN ENERGY MULTIPLICATION POWER SYSTEM but can be thought of as an ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM. To be more specific, we can use this system to trap or hold the mechanical energy using fly wheels of minimum rotational friction (of-course with an exponentially but slowly decaying fashion) for some time. Can be a very good energy storage system (may be comparable to batteries) to hold the power generated during day time when using solar power panels. This system can slowly release the energy to a connected load during night.

Correct me if I am wrong, the flywheel is like an energy storing device like a battery. So let us consider the same setup that you used wherein you use a motor to rotate the flywheel. In simple words you are transferring the mechanical energy of the motor to kinetic energy of the flywheel. Now after the flywheel or "battery" has reached to its full kinetic energy or "charge" by the motor or the "charger", you are turning off the motor or "charger" and therefore the flywheel continues to spin due to moment of inertia therefore dispensing its stored kinetic energy or "charge". At this particular instant, the input to the entire setup is 0 watts but the output by the generator is say whatever the capacity of the alternator/PMG is. So, my question is this power multiplication? Because to me it sounds like you're storing energy and using that same energy. I would rather call it much worse because here we would have to consider much more inefficiencies like the motor will have some losses, switching losses of VFD, frictional losses by the bearing, static losses by flywheel. So, what energy you dispense by the motor, which then is stored by the flywheel and then is fed to the alternator/PMG, there is a drop in energy at each stage due to these losses. Now, let us climb another step further wherein you mentioned the smaller motor is running. Imagine that the system is fully charged (meaning flywheel is rotated to its rated capacity) and now the alternator is in mesh with the flywheel and there is an instantaneous full load connected to the alternator/PMG. In this case there has to be an obvious drop in speed (RPM) of the flywheel. Now as suggested the lower capacity motor will run and make up the "RPM's" lost. Now won't the smaller capacity motor need to dispense an equal amount of energy to "charge" this flywheel bank? Or rather we can sum it up like the higher capacity motor is a "fast charger" and the lower capacity motor is a "slow charger"? Now to take it another step further the losses of the smaller capacity motor is to be also considered. Also, not to mention that your alternator/PMG is always meshed, needless to say, even they have losses to be considered. In my opinion I would rather call this an uninterruptible power supply, where you charge a battery and use it when the power goes or there is a low voltage! So, my conclusion on this is that flywheels are to be used to avoid "jerks" in the supply system and not to multiply or generate power.

Multiply Input voltage with current to calculate input power. then use the same way to calculate output power. Now you have to consider the time. I mean calculate the Watt hour. compare Input watt hour with output watt hour, then you will see output watt(load) is decrease as stored energy in the fly wheel is finishing. Which makes you understand that it is not possible to generate more power than input. You should start studying both mechanical and electrical engineering.

Energy in = less energy out (loss due to friction etc). The form of energy does not matter. So there is no power multiplication. Though energy storing in an 8 ton flywheel is a good idea. You can rotate the flywheel (when the bearing is ok) by hand or a few Watts source, you don't need 20 Kilowatt to make it spin. So that does not tell something about efficiency. Input amp = 15 A and output Amp is 28 A, that also does not tell anything about efficiency and input power versus output power. Watt = Electrical Power = Volt x Ampère (DC situation). Anyway: a good idea to store energy this way.

6000 rpm on plummer blocks, I dought it I know of some car engines that don't rev that high. At first those flywheels looked as though they were only doing a couple a hundred rims. Those plumber blocks would overheat at 6 grand and fry the lube and then the bearings size and then the whole gizmo would just fly to bits with desasterous results, maybe 600 rpm is more likely and those big flywheels would have to be precisionly balanced otherwise any imbalance would shake the whole contraption to bits and I don't think I would like be near that thing when it's spinning at 6000 rpm and one of those flywheels decides to seperate and break free from that thing.

So if I understand this right, the energy to maintain the rotation of the flywheels is less than the energy that can be used to generate power. Your energy loss is condensed to the initial start up of the flywheels, which is significant, but once the flywheels are in motion your input is less than the output. This is still an energy storage device in practicality, but that in itself is very valuable. Imagine scaling to the 100 ton flywheel size, and using mechanical wind power through a variable gearbox to increase the RPM of the flywheels during peak wind. Then you could draw electricity from a series of generators when needed at a variety of voltages at what ever amps needed at the time. Even excess Photo-voltaic energy could be used to increase the rpm during peak sunlight periods . With these two energy sources producing the power to generate the RPM the generators would slowly reduce the RPM when producing electricity on demand. There is not a total energy multiplication, once you take in the start up energy needed, but it is an excellent way to store the energy from wind and solar, both of which are variable. Keep up the good work

The higher out amps compared to input amps is one thing however, I am most interested in the "total" input energy vs total output energy using accurate and documented (recorded) measurements of all dissipated energies. I suspect that the stored energy in the flywheels presents the apparent 'free' energy gain. In effect you are likely just slowly running down the stored inertial energy of the flywheels. Thus you will only 'apparently' be able to generate 'free' energy for a constrained time period. This can be proven another way and that is by maintaining the angular velocity of the flywheels under heavy load and taking measurements under that condition.

What is new or special here? Off the shelf components (geni and motor) which all have specific losses in doing their work. (Eddy current , copper losses, etc.) Given you are throwing away this energy as you try to spin up the big flywheel you can never get it back. This system is good for an uninterruptible power supply that can keep supplying a continuous waveform during a short interruption of mains power while there is a switchover to battery power to spin the flywheel/generator until the utility power is restored. We had this technology where I work for years since the 1980s and that flywheel powered device which provided our sensitive technical environment with constant power was called a PILLAR system ( German Technology I think) and it used the flywheel effect to overcome losses in mains power for milliseconds while batteries took over in keeping the flywheel spinning at synchronous speed..There is no free power here and what needs to be calculated is the efficiency which is always less than 100% = 1.

Flywheel energy storage systems using mechanical bearings can lose 20% to 50% of their energy in two hours. Much of the friction responsible for this energy loss results from the flywheel changing orientation due to the rotation of the earth (an effect similar to that shown by a Foucault pendulum). This change in orientation is resisted by the gyroscopic forces exerted by the flywheel's angular momentum, thus exerting a force against the mechanical bearings. This force increases friction. This can be avoided by aligning the flywheel's axis of rotation parallel to that of the earth's axis of rotation. Conversely, flywheels with magnetic bearings and high vacuum can maintain 97% mechanical efficiency, and 85% round trip efficiency. #Wikipedia# Flywheel energy storage has been used in public transport and even in mining vehicles. There is nothing nonsense in this contraption (well you have to turn volume to zero), only very low efficiency.

This is fascinating. I wonder if this concept can be modified to incorporate snowmobile-style CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) Primary and Secondary clutches? Though the gearing changes are technically infinite, in reality, it's comparable to having, say, a 3-speed bicycle except no jarring gear changes are needed. I do believe the snowmobile belt design is superior to the standard V-belts used here as well, though finding them in the correct length needed for this application could be quite problematic. Of question would be if the benefits would overcome the increased complexity and friction due to more moving parts.

Sir,I tried this experiment,it didnt work, then I asked one scientist,he told me,we can never generate electricity ,with electric motor and dynamo interconnected, the forces will cancel eachother and become zero, this is because the more the electricity , motor draws ,the Tighter the dynamo armature becomes, and slows down the motor, and finally the motor comes to stop ,that is what that scientist told me. But with the help of flywheel if you are able to make it successful ,then it is a good invention, very good sir, keep it up.

  • @nassimkoubeissi5814

do not be confused by flywheel size and wieght . the flywheel stores input power example a flywheel connected to a motor via V belt same pulley size on motor and flywheel shafts let's say motor has 1hp output mechanical power (all ideal conditions no friction and air dynamic losses...) the flywheel will store this 1hp input power by its rotational speed the time taken while the flywheel is taking thiis 1hp is the energy stored in the flywheel. it means if u put a load on this flywheel say a generator 5hp and we put a 5 HP electrical load on the generator thy flywheel will give all it's stored energy to the generator reducing the flywheel speed 5 times faster more than it's inertial energy stored so it will go to complete stop very quickly . in normal conditions this happens much faster due to friction losses in bearings ,air hitting the flywheel , vibration losses (flywheel wieght not alligned ; shafts not 100% balanced and losessin the motor itself . so to get this straigh there is no such free energy except generated by sollar panels or a turbine feed by high pressure water from a dam .

I was studying this system and in my case, I was astonished until I tried to grasp the whole thing. Then , here it goes the explanation for the analyzed system : Electric Generator (let's say 5 Kw @ 3650 r.p.m rated power) power is generated from a Motor which only provides ( let's say 3 Kw @ 1725 rated power) . At first glance it seems as if the system where generating (5-3 = 2 Kw) . However we must be aware that High Inertia Values from Flywheels impossed high loads to the motor . The motor tries to achive this exigent load varying its working point , reducing its rated angular velocity (increasing motor slip , decreasing for instance to 1600 r.p.m ) and when this happens , the current and obviously power comsumption will be increased to respond this higher than rated load. Depending on the motor kind this new working current could be as high as 5 times the rated current , so , It's normal that power consumption could be twice or three times the rated power for the motor . I stronly recommend you guys to watch an induction motor torque power curve. In conclusion , Motor really demands 6 Kw ( 2(double in demanding power ) * 3 (rated motor power )) . With this established , it is clear that we have not broken 1st thermodynamics rule : (Motor power = 6 KW ) = (Genarator power = 5 KW ) + (loses = 1 KW) As you probably know this 1 KW lose energy must include: *Friction with air. *Noise levels. *Mechanical transmission loses .... etc . Pd. It was really curious that in the video He measured Voltage and Current , but , unfornately he didn't measure the output voltage in the generator ... he did measured only the output current.... Looking forward to hearing some replies

I built a device once that had several disks all larger than the next. I think I had 10 in all. The smallest 4 inches and the largest 4 feet in diameter. Each disk had aluminum plates on the outer edge side facing the next larger disk. Each disk had magnets on the side facing the smaller disk place in the diameter of the next smaller disk. All except 2 of the disks were on a shaft with bearings that would turn independently of each other except for the largest disk was attached to the shaft. The very smallest disk was attached to a 9 volt motor about the diameter of a quarter. I would turn on the motor and it would spin. This would start the bigger second disk spinning and the second d would start the bigger third and so on. I was able to spin the 4 foot disk at about 135 rpm in the end. You could slow the largest disk with a load and have very little affect on the smaller disks. I have torn it apart and the rennets are still in my basement. I would love to see this built to low tolerance specs. Maybe even use copper plates or coils instead of aluminum plates. Mine was cut out on a table saw from 3/4 project board and some parts made on my cnc router to hold bearings and such.

Energy can neither be created or destroyed. It's converted from one form to other. Current production is having a load of magnetic flux cut by coil. This action needs force. The stored energy in flywheel would get stopped when a good amount of electricity is produced in demand. Here load is lower than a certain limit which allows flywheel to roll.

@Azack so you’re using the “ I believe the government are scammer so it ps alright for these guys” excuse? They are nothing more than common thieves stealing from innocent and gullible people. If people like this guy spent as much time doing something useful it would a different matter, instead of using his skills to steal from people he could apply them to help instead.

In this video you discuss about gear box. Why we need gear box. You future plans to pose drive motor and flywheel and alternator will be in straight a line for more efficiency. It's good idea. I am planning to make one green power generator like this for my home load.

Interesting but not feasible if it takes a setup this large to create 11amps and where does the 11amps come from?

You can put a bicycle instead of the motor, and start the flywheels manually... then it is totally free energy. Of course the bicycle should be electric to help you do the work.
