What was so special about it we already have imax screens in other theaters around the city, let’s build more unique things in Chicago. I think this looks pretty cool.

@@iwouldliketoorderanumber1b79 It was one of the only "true IMAX" screens that played first run commercial movies. Most IMAX screens now day are half the size. Which is one of the reason the term "liemax" comes from.

What is this, like a ripoff of Disney's Soarin' Ride?
Not a great investment, you can find these in freaking hotels. Being 70mm IMAX back to Chicago! It was one the rarest projection/screen's in the world. No, the one at Regal North is a smaller screen and can't project movies in a 1.43:1 ratio which is largest aspect ratio for any movie format. I'm disappointed that people don't realize how truly special this theater was.
'Soarin' over 'O' block' sounds cools. Will it have real gunfire?
