I love Lacey Sturm. I love how she looks so tiny and sweet and then she brings the fire. 🔥🔥🔥 When she left, it hurt my heart. BUT... She’s still bringing it with solo stuff and collabs. I recommend her collab with Breaking Benjamin doing Dear Agony. It gets ya in the Feels.

Much like a few songs that I have in mind, this one really does come with intensity. I compare it to carrying a torch that's set to a pile of firewood soaked with gasoline.

Flyleaf singer Lacey Sturm is probably the nicest musician I met. I took my 16 yr old son and 2 of his friends to see Lacey Sturm at a club I did security at. So we were hanging out backstage with her and she was taking pictures, signing stuff, praying with kids. She really seemed to enjoy what she was doing and being with her fans and getting to talk to them and pray with them. Her husband plays guitar in her solo band and he's really cool too. They're the real deal.

Chasm, Sorrow, Fully Alive, Beautiful Bride, All Around Me, Tiny Heart, Red Sam, Much Like Falling... so many good songs from Flyleaf.

Christian metal? Old UnderOath!!!! It is amazing! They are/were very underrated. Listen to their albums Act of Depression, and Cries of the Past.... incredible stuff!

Flyleaf and skillet are the two mainstays but not many people know creed and POD are Christian/Christian based. Then you got red, 12 stones, pillar, thousand foot crutch, kutless, those are the ones like this, then you get heavier with under oath, war of ages, devil wears Prada, August burns red.. then there’s the “metal core” types with as I lay dying, for today, erra. So many great bands in that category! They took over in the early 00’s!

Flyleaf is one of my favorite bands of all time Please react to Fully Alive and All around me by Flyleaf. Tracks are also from their first album self-titled Flyleaf. The singer of the band Flyleaf Lacey Strum has a amazing feature with the band Breaking Benjamin the song is called Dear Agony although Lacey wasn’t on the original recording the song dear agony was actually on their fourth album titled Dear Agony. Breaking Benjamin 2020 album Aurora is album where feature singers from bands will collab with classics breaking Benjamin songs

Love me some Flyleaf! Someone made a mix of them and 30 Seconds To Mars. It’s this song mixed with the song “A Beautiful Lie”. HIGHLY recommend

While there have been no shortage of talented female singers in rock or metal over the years, I think Hayley Williams and Paramore owe a lot of their early sound to Flyleaf.

Also Guys One Of My Favorite Christian Rock Bands Thousand Foot Krutch The Song ''Like A Machine'' From Their Album Oxygen Is Absolute Fire. And Skillet's Song ''Monster'' Is Another Great Listen.

as far as christian metal goes, I really like Demon Hunter. My Throat Is An Open Grave, Someone to Hate, Collapsing and I Play Dead are some of my favourite songs from them to name a few

Stryper was another Christian metal/hair band from the 80s.

To the homie in the middle with the Jaws shirt, if you want more Christian metal, check out Demonic Extinction’s “Infernal Decapitation”. It’s oldschool style death metal with clearer and modern recording technology, but still underground and VERY underrated. If you want something more like this; then check out Brian Head Welch’s solo project’s (later renamed “Love and Death”) song “Paralyzed”. He was the original second guitarist of Korn, who left the band to follow his newfound religion and later rejoined a few years ago. Loved the video and just subbed 🤘🤘

Taken from Wikipedia, " Layne Staley, the lead singer of the pioneering grunge band Alice in Chains, was found dead on Friday at his home in Seattle. He was 34 years old. Alice in Chains was one of the first grunge bands to gain national attention.Apr 21, 2002". Another thing you might want to check out on your own is Layne Staley's mom sings Mad Season's "Wake Up" on KZread. Yep addiction truly is a mofo.
