I just found your channel as I just passed my multi addon check ride. I'll admit that I was feeling a little down with all the uncertainty going on right now and not knowing what the future hold for us that will try very soon to try to get into the airlines. However, it was a great boost hearing your assistant chief pilot talking about there is a bright future ahead! It brought a big smile and hope to my soul. I will follow your channel from this point on. Safe flight, Captain and hopefully one day soon, I will fulfill my life time dream and become an airline pilot myself!

Hello, this is the first time I have seen a video of you, and as a retired pilot, I must tell you that I have loved the simplicity of your story. You have spoken for everyone, using only aeronautical language when necessary. Very nice, the assistant to the Chief Pilot as well. You already have me as one more new subscriber and I hope to enjoy your videos a lot. Two more things, it is sad that the Company does not provide crew meals, and two, your tie has shocked me. Good landings without crosswind !!!

Another great vid! Normally watch them on the day it comes out but had a sim session. Got to love an EFATO !

Back in 1965 I watched all the planes landing and departing. With a view from MCRD SD wanting to be on one of those departing birds. lol

I'm no pilot I just watch these out of interest and try to learn a few things would love to see a video of your walk around outside and learn what your looking for and at. I'm amazed how technological advanced some of these planes are becoming with all the backups to systems and auto pilot and stuff

Excellent video as usual! Quick suggestion if I may. With your airline’s recent introduction of flights from Phoenix - Palm Springs, I would love to see you fly there on one of your trips. Possibly a Palm Springs turn if they offer those.

The FAA forbids video recording on US carriers during critical phases of flight. That's why you rarely see flightdeck videos from airlines like AA, DL, UA, WN, AS, etc. on yt.

So you’re the guy leaving fingerprints all over the displays!! ;) Great vids man, keep it up!

...Tommy at Plane Junkies made a couple of his flights flying the beautiful red Pilatus PC-24 into San Diego right over Downtown ..then posted another one taking off in the rain up into the clouds..really miss that San Diego coastline and the beaches..... .

@@FlyingwithBigErn Yes but I was training with Oxford Aviation Academy back in 2009. The training schools have changed their names so much, I can't keep track. I was there for about 5 months because of the much lower cost and better weather when compared with the UK. I flew the NG then A320 and possibly back on the NG with a potential start up. I have missed being in the sky but I am glad I've found your channel.

Definitely agree with putting in as much visual presentation of the Engine out procedure. Airbus have a really good place/bearing/distance which means you can put in in exactly. Cool boss! Another great vid

I love hearing the words of wisdom from you and your coworkers. Very inspirational. On your deadhead flight, the landing flaps looked like 15, is that what you would say it was? Thought that was only for an engine failure.

Hi Bobby! I actually enjoy the landing in SAN. Beautiful approach with the water and boats. It’s a slightly steeper approach due to the buildings but I honestly don’t really notice anymore. Slight learning curve in the beginning but not bad. Cheers!

Weird that they do clearances on Tower freq, normally people try to keep that clear as possible. Here at KJAC, they do it on ground (though of course it's the same guy). Unless the tower is closed, then you have to call Salt Lake Center over a repeater. Or, if you're a cool GA pilot in a King Air you just pretend it's VFR and request IFR when you get up to 12,000. Also don't forget to make your position reports on Unicom instead of CTAF. The other planes can't be in your way if you don't know where they are. Also deicing is for people with _more_ than a mm of clear ice build up on their wings (I don't know how that guy is still alive). The FAA may say "free of contamination" but what they mean is "free of an amount of contamination I'm worried about."
