I did that same flight a few years ago and it is a very scenic flight, enjoyed it all the way and I love the airport runway with road stop sign,I enjoyed my vacation in Carriacou.

My favourite way of travelling to Carriacou. Not only much quicker but the real draw is just the sheer awe-inspiring journey really shoeing the beauty of the island. My favourites are flying over the interior/mountains, leaving Grenada coastline - always look at for Morne de Sauteurs - flying over Kick em Jenny (glad missing that bumpy encounter on the boat) and finally love the approach into Carriacou past the Harvey Vale Bay, L'Esterre Bay and across Paradise Beach to the runway at Lauriston. Pity we didn't get to see that landing, it's a bit unnerving for some - I still miss the road/traffic going across that runway,

In 2019, I was sitting right in front with the young pilot- scary but beautiful; it was good seeing the clouds ahead that were going to cause the turbulence. After we landed, I asked him whether his mom in St. Vincent prays for him all the time🙏🏽😅

Safer than driving a car. As well as pilot's skill/experience dont forget there's a host of technology that assists the pilot. The main thing is passengers just dont appreciate the amount of detailed planning/preparation before each flight.
