The rules are changing later this month, so double check what the requirements would be for your travel date. You could also ask your airline for assistance. Make sure to subscribe!

If you flew out as a resident from the United States then why did you HAVE TO SHOW a fully vaccinated card to fly into Hawaii, another U.S. state?? I’m not aware of any U.S. state requiring U.S. residents to be fully vaccinated in order to enter.

Hi @Renita Hudgins! It seems domestic travelers will be able to arrive on the archipelago without having to quarantine, provide proof of vaccination, or take a COVID test starting March 26th! Hope that makes things easier for you 😃

I am heading to Hawaii next week and also flying American Airlines. I just got off the phone with them and the representative had no knowledge of the "Hawaii PreClear" program. I also checked their website and there is no mention of it there as well. I assume this program is no longer offered through American Airlines (which is a bummer). I am not looking forward to joining lines I hear can be as long as 2 hours to get through.

You need to log on to the Safe Travels Hawaii website. Download your vaccination card. 24hrs. before departure go back to the website and fill out the medical information questionnaire, once you have fully completed the questionnaire - you will receive an email with your QR code. This QR code is very important.

If you are unvaccinated you have to have a negative covid test 72 hours before the final leg of your flight.

See Safe Access vaccine passport Progrom and the governor and mayor of each island proclamation. All discriminatory and highly restrictive.

I go to Hawaii every year, I did not go during covid because I do not agree someone needs to be vaccinated to go into a restaurant. Everyone including the jabbed get covid.
