Three years ago I moved from Chicago after living there for 30 years. THANKS for the walk down memory lane. And yes, the Sears Tower will always be known as the Sears Tower.

I've never seen or heard Francesco so excited! John was really excited to show us around too, you could see it in his eyes. I love Chicago, such a fun city with so much to enjoy. The gloves vs camera/phone struggle is very real. 🤣 Can't wait to see the rest of the trip!

Yes, living I Chicago in the cold winter seasons is crazy sometimes but it makes Chicago citizens strong in our heart. Many times when I would have a trip to Florida in the winter now you can understand why I do love the warm weather in Florida. Hahaaha!! Yes, I was born here and gave grown up here and New York. So, I have seen the snow in both of these big cities. Well, enjoy being here in Chicago. Our Channel News 9 which was born here in Chicago and Channel 11 PBS stations are our really at the heart of our city. So, enjoy being here in the cold. But it is nice to come here in the summer to see the city with all the museums and sights.

So cool! Chicago is definitely on my list to visit!

Oh man, this reminds me of my winter business trips to Chicago...looks so fun! I live in California, but often have to travel to Asia and I have done a few trips that I leave the 90F temperature of Asia and 14 hours later, FREEZING in the windy city. Chicago is really fun and very walkable, plus the endless of food options!

Great first day in Chicago Francesco I loved how you were getting so exciting with the winter weather. I loved the hotel and you and John were enjoying the day, plus you flew first class yayyy. You know the famous line...Paris First Class International lol.

I wish I knew you guys were coming to my home. I didn't realize a hotel was in that corner, and I grew up in that area. Humboldt Park is my home. John is my brother from another mother, especially since we are Puerto Ricans. I hope you went by there to get some PR food. I love seeing my home being viewed by the outsider, Francesco. John was a great host in his hometown. I love that you guys came during the cold, snowy time in Chicago.

Currently watching Chicago fire for the first time and loved watching this vlog. Its currently summer where I live so we're having tons of thunderstorms and scorching hot days, but even when it comes around, our winters never get so bad. The fact that the train stops have heaters is so fascinating to me! Great vlog! Been watching you for years but barely comment.. love from South Africa 🇿🇦

Next time, stay at the Hawthorne in Boys Town. Depending on where you are at, you can get an awesome view of the lake!

Secondly, that was good You guys went walking in Millennium Park to see the Bean!!! Yes, it is nice to do that and take a picture. Will today Wednesday it is 19 degrees listed here on the local channel 9 News but not any snow right. The news weather host today said we my get snow here later on tonight. The was really nice you guys took the Blue Line train into the city from O'Hare Airport. I always get off at Jefferson Park stop. And then I would take two buses back east and then north to Rogers Park near the Loyola University area. I see you guys got off at the Damen stop.

You guys are couples goals!

As someone who lives in chicago, in andersonville, welcome. You are right that many people wear the mask outside because it helps with the cold. As a person who hates cold weather, I leave a lot in winter. I always have a screwdriver on morning flights no judgement:).

Loving this video! My ORD relatives say great things about their Chinatown. Fyi Tous Les Jours is Korean chain that is French inspired. We have one in SEA Chinatown. They are also in all our H-Marts.

I love Chicago. When I was stationed in Great Lakes Navy Base, I use take the train to Chicago.
