I flew the B727-200 right seat for a couple of years in the eighties and absolutely loved it. Because of the high wing loading speed was critical and it was not easy to land smoothly consistently but other than that I really enjoyed this beast.

Just by lowering fuel quantities and cargo weights to absolute minimums, a short flight between close airports with proper runway length, makes it so much easier to fly these "heavy's". I heard 727 and MD80 was so called "high drag" planes, which means you can land them at a steeper approach?!??. i dunno. I've seen a crazy video of a 727 which landed on a very very VERY small strip.. i think it's on KZread somewhere.. terrible music but it's a cockpit video (kinda).

Interesting living in the UK and growing up around pilots in the 60/70s I had heard that the Trident 1/2 where especially hard to fly so there must have been something about the T tail

There is a concord cockpit simulator in at British Aircraft Corporation's training headquarters at Filton, Bristol. And they now let people fly in it

Based on some of your videos I was expecting you to test out the q400 as you often say it has very wierd handling.

Also the EF2000 is very hard to control, it doesn't slow down when you land, with brake, airbrake and chute

one thing I know about the 727 is that, unlike other planes, you need to keep the power on the engines almost till you touch the runway on landings, otherwise it has a tendency to drop backwards with the tail due the weight back there

I mean there was one accident of a 727 that couldn't take off from DFW/KDFW and that is delta flight 1141 which was due to pilot error cause the pilots forgot the set flaps to take off 14 people died sadly but 94 survived of the 108 people on board.

I was once on a westjet dash 8, and the landing was very harsh. What’s funny is the flight attendant kinda took the piss out of it, I remember her saying : How’s that for a landing? Alright welcome to Toronto…

How do you replay landings?.

Why don't you fly to Andorra-La Seu airport again? Short runway, difficult aproach, on the top of a hill, it has everything

Maybe you can try flying a addon plane with only 6 buttons or something
