In the world of foam jets , Freewing is second to none ! For all out scale fidelity and mind roasting performance Freewing and Motion R/C simply can't be beat.

Real nice plane I couldn't resist and bought one of them too. They fly so stable just beautiful

Awwww I love my A10 James. One of the best machines Freewing have put out. Amazing to fly. I’ve got some nerf whistles stuck in the engine nacelles and man it sounds just like the real thing in a dive. I’m getting close to 5 mins on mine. Stock set up. You can really use the inertia on this model to get good flight times. Awesome model, Awesome vid. You can’t beat an A10 guys. 🤛😁👌

Hey James, nice video, my A-10 Arctic is maybe my favorite EDF to fly. I'm flying mine at 92 mm CG instead of the 78 book mark and it takes off, flies and lands like a trainer there. It knife edges with very little elevator comp and slows down for landing at that CG so much better as you can easily get the nose high for a main only landing. Give it a try, you may really love the way it performs at that CG, never a bucking bronco on landing. I'm able to land at half the speed and distance required at the book CG. I'm also using 2 RT 6250's with the old outrunners and easily get over 5 minutes of very aggressive flying. It seems to float like a butterfly at that CG and is still almost impossible to stall. And I guarantee you it is not remotely tail heavy at 92 mm. I think you could even go back more but I can't get my batteries any further back even after moving the BB, but my cockpit did add another 120 g in the nose.

Making me want it. Grew up with them buzzing around my local sky. Cool machine

Very nice plane

None of my 1600mm planes or EDF’s prepared me for how big the jet is. I was doing the math before the purchase- “My Eflite a-10 is 64mm. The Freewing is 80mm, that 16mm, or 8mm longer on each wing. The Freewing a-10 makes the Eflite a-10 look like a UMX! The 80mm is such a beautiful looking, well built plane. I’ve had it for 6 months, I should fly it one day...

I wasn't a fan of the A-10 when it can out but after a did a maiden on a friend's I loved how well it flew and landed!

Hello, how did you fit 2 6S 6000 Batteries in there? The Manual suggests 6S 4000 - 6S 5200mah. I have read a lot in different forums (like RC groups) and people are not able to put more than 6S 5000 in without either 1. stacking them above each other in the back battery bay or 2. cutting foam away from the hood and complaining about bad CG In your video it looks like it is no big deal. The batteries weigh in at 844g - how did you get the CG correct? Br, Willi

I got one and love it I wish the landing gear was upgraded I had to buy the after market retracts I think it has been out for so long you guys should include them with a little more price I’m sure everyone would agree but over all feels like the Mig29 both great planes

removing all the drag you can you expect a quicker top-end speed (which, doesn't matter in an A-10), but otherwise, it flies great in either configuration

Hi Motion RC. Great Plane and awesome flying. I had an A10 but crashed it. Very new pilot I was and still am. I am asking for permission to use 10-15 seconds of this video on my KZread channel. I would like to use portions of your take off and the aerial view. I created my channel to share my imagination and toys. Pretty simple and fun. Thank you and again awesome plane and flying!

@motion rc, can you tell me your CG with this 2 heavy Batterie packs? With gear up oder gear down?

If I buy this plain will it come with the gun sound ?

I'm using the upgraded gear with the twin 90mm nacelles... two hrb 5000mah getting 5min flights

i want an a-10 and i might get an unopened one from a club-member but only 3 minutes from 2x 6000mAh 6s? that's harsh. 3 minutes with 250€ worth of batteries... ouch... i definitely need some single edf plane that takes 1x 6s 6000mAh to use in that too ^^ i'm flying till 3.5V per cell usually though, and then land (alert at 3,5 so it's still not lower than 3,3 when landing)

Anyone else noticed the decals are backwards on the mouth

I like the a10, just sad its 2 batteries for each flight. But, it's an 80mm so, understandably

why is it the tricycle gear edf jets are more prone to bouncing when you are out of the power rather than coming in with a little more throttle?

Is there a Jet that isn't a tricycle gear? You always want to land with power on anything from warbirds to Jets. Never leave it up to gravity to bring the plane down. Bouncing can be numerous factors and happen to any aircraft because you are basically allowing the plane to crash into the runway and not controlling the decent.

How far can these things go?

I’ve flown prop planes for years but recently acquired the a-10. I’ve installed flaps on this plane but have never flown a ducted fan before. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated before I maiden this aircraft. It is the freewing 64mm

What receiver you have inside

Need to have those spiny helicopters with the stick and blade. The one you spin between your hands then next up is the iPad, those are two tool you need to bring your girls to the field 😉 once they hit 5-6 you’ll need to bring a dji magic mini ☺️ my girls 10/6 love coming to field they get bored with the Discus launched glider but love the Heli flights ☺️

What's the top speed of that?

What level of difficulty is the A-10 to fly? I am probably an intermediate pilot with 0 experience with EDFs (mainly fly DLG). Is this a reasonable plane to be my first EDF to fly?

You will lose sight of the plane waaaaaay before you lose signal. Not recommended
