Watching Charlie enjoy this is exactly why I never fly without an empty seat! Why not fly a passenger if you have the choice! This is why I'm so frustrated my school still won't allow passengers due to their COVID rules. Really looking forward to meeting up with you mate, I'd also fly you if I was allowed!!

Great fun video Ben. Really nice to see and hear Charlie's responses. Always good to share our flying experiences and especially when they really appreciate the trip. When I was at work I flew most of my staff at different times (and there are few primary school headteachers who can say that! ) always a great bonding time and most really enjoyed it. I liked the way you made sure Charlie was comfortable before you did much. There are some out there who think it is clever to terrify their passengers by throwing their machines around. We want people to enjoy it and come back for more... Well done on another great film!

It's great taking up an appreciative passenger isn't it - almost as much fun for the pilot as the first timer I always think. ...and I must compliment you on your approach and skill as a pilot, I had no idea you only had 60 hours stick time yet you fly like an ol timer pro.....good work sir! (..and nice to see the last BA B747 on the deck at Kemble at the end..) Loved that, great vid as ever....

Good one Ben. It never gets old seeing the enjoyment that most people get from their first flight in a light aircraft. Makes you appreciate how lucky we are to fly. Nice landing as well, especially under pressure from the other traffic and having a first time light aircraft passenger on board.

Just a questing. I'm struggling to pick a flying club. Am I reading it correctly that David charges £975 (including club membership) per year to join the MLG? And then £65per month and then £70ish per hr wet?

That is for the MLG yes, designed to give you the closest thing to owning, without the surprise bills. And you get a choice of all three planes, I don't think I've ever not been able to fly due to plane bookings. You don't have to be a part of the MLG but you may more per hour. I find its the perfect balance.

Man city, where Rory is bssed was the best for plane hire but too far. Amazing, I'll be intouch with David once he reopens

Ben, mate, they're not planes, planes are things carpenters use. You fly aeroplanes.

And the Wright Brothers did not invent "flying" - they were very late to the game.
