FLYING IN THE CLOUDS | Hiking the Kinsmans in NH

Ойын-сауық

This is my very first video on KZread and it was a blast to make. I hope that you enjoy it since this is the first of a weekly series of videos that I'll be sharing to document my hiking and outdoors adventures here in the Granite State of New Hampshire!
In this episode, my dog Dexter and I hike North and South Kinsman mountains, two of the forty eight 4000+ foot mountains here in NH. The Kinmans are challenging but offer great rewards in the form of sweeping views and the Appalachian Trail through hikers that you'll meet on the trail when doing these peaks during the summer months.
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a 👍 and subscribe to the channel since I create new content just like this all of the time!

Great job on showing the trail. Too many hikers focus on themselves and not the hike. The drone shots wow! Keep putting these videos out there. Love NH and your Buddy is adorable 🥰

Excellent video Joseph. I completed the 48 back in 2000. Your video brought back some great memories of the Kinsmans. Can't wait to see more.

Thanks so much for watching and for the feedback, George! The NH 4,000 footers and the White Mountains in general are just so special, and I'm glad that I could help you envision your hike from years ago. Please subscribe if you haven't already, I'll be coming out with new videos every week!

🌲🌲🌲 Clap, clap, clap ... great video highlighting our beautiful New Hampshire mountains!!! 🌲💚🌲 LOVE the different perspective ... drone views ... thank you for sharing! 🌲💚🌲 My favorite section = the speed hiking ... having hiked many NH trails, it was such fun to enjoy the scenery without huffing and puffing myself along ... haha (gray haired Omie). Looking forward to following more of your adventures. 🌲🌲🌲 See you on the trail ... Mrs. T. ^..^

Thanks Willis, that's definitely one of the goals I'm trying to achieve with this video series. I'm trying to make videos that I wished existed when I started hiking the 48 a couple of years ago. I'm excited that these videos are helping hikers like yourself! Thanks for the feedback and for watching. New videos each week!

Last name of kynaston. Did your family hail from Shropshire England originally? If so you might Google sir Humphrey kynaston aka wild Humphrey. He was a highwayman akin to robin hood. Very famous. Outlawed after losing the family castle apparently murdered a man and had a pardon from the king after assisting with troops for a war ( if memory serves me it was Henry II) . direct descendant of the platwganet kings and queens. His sister was princess Diana's 14th great grandmother. Lots of history

Hey David, yes I remember meeting you as well! We ended up staying the night at the Garfield tentsite and had to bail early Monday morning when we woke up to freezing torrential rain and really high winds. You couldn't see a thing and we were soaked. Not fun at that point! Thanks so much for subscribing and checking out my videos. I hope you get to do some great hiking this summer 👍

Hey Tim, I believe I filmed this video in June. Spring/early summer hiking in New England definitely comes with a fair share of flying insects! Something to consider for sure.

What drone are you using? Also, while you are working on the 4k peaks you need to stop by Schilling's in Littleton.

Erik Johnson I'm using the DJI Mavic Pro, it's great because of how compact it is. Fits in my pack. And I've been to Schilling a few times, it's an awesome brewery with great beer and fantastic pizza 👌🍕

it's hard to see the scenery behind you when you do a 360 as your head blocks out so much - I appreciate what you have to say but maybe you could stand a bit futher back when you do the 360 or turn the camera around, or...something as I'd LOVE to see all that beautiful scenery at the top. Hope to do many of these myself and you've made it easier for me as I know what to expect, where to park, start, etc. Thanks,
