Flying an RC Car part1
Ғылым және технология
PART 2 IS OUT NOW! go check it out!
Hey guys! Sorry for the late posting (again) :D This video was inspired by some of the videos I've seen of people trying to fly their RC cars with wings strapped to them! This is just part 1 of flying an RC car! perhaps for part 2 the motors will work well and i'll try driving it straight off of a cliff!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels. I also don't mind when things don't work out. The process is the best part. I like seeing it all. You also have great camera aesthetic. I wouldn't change one thing you guys are doing
Your channel has helped me come out of a depression and inspired me to get back to building things. Your videos are awesome. Your positive demeanor and outlook are inspiring. Keep up the good work. Sometimes our actions have bigger results and effect people in ways we could never have imagined. Thank you Peter.

Something! No seriously, first the way you build stuff is great. I dont like to build much, but this would be my style (quick and easy, but effective). Also i love that you dont give up. And: this must be the most creative endroll on youtube! Awesome. Kinda weird but the end was m favourite part :). Greets from Austria, Mario

The main thing is to have fun. You are great builder, Peter&co.
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a car should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The car, of course, flies anyways. Because cars don't care what humans think is impossible.

What is your educational background Peter? Glad you went on your own path. I don't watch many Flitetest videos anymore because they lost the originality, and creativity I enjoyed watching. You are pure genuine my friend. Thx from Canada.
Haha, yet again something everybody has dreamed of doing as a kid! This is great!

Peter is so good at this channel and should keep doing what he does best! Very impressed!
And Amazing video at the end of the car flight, with the water tower in the background, nice! Very clever outro, esp the screen switches, priceless!

Peter, I noticed in the video that when the rocket motors fired, that the rear wooden mount moved up and changed the thrust vector.

If in doubt... add rocket motors. Great video, yet again. You're a genius, man - how come you're not working for Boeing or Lockheed-Martin, or NASA? No, seriously, some of your R/C designs are astonishing. You've made stuff fly that shouldn't even be considered even slightly airworthy. The huge cargo plane you built and flew was awesome. You do great work, my friend.
Hey Peter I did a science fair project on sugar motor and and spectracide stump remover works best you can get it at lowes keep up the good work!
What NACA airfoil is that? LMAO, love the simplicity, shows how easy it is to get started in RC flight.
a necessary step to a future success
*Peter uploads a video* *oooooo dang something gonna get up in the air*
The smoke from the fireworks made it look really cool

please post voids more often I love what you do
Your ideas always crack me up! Laughed hard. You have a pitch-down moment with the rocket engines so high. Maybe place them on the center of pressure? Right on the car's butt.
@samrowland2816

Yeah they tilted the wing spar downwards. We know this thing is going to end up with rocket motors as well as the electric :D

Yep! I probably should have done that! They looked kinda cool mounted to the top though! Not as practical as you've mentioned though!
congratulations u gain a new subscriber :3
Wow, another solid video. On sugar rockets..make sure to rough up the ID of the tube where the nozzle clay will be to prevent blow outs. Also warming the fuel before packing makes for better performance. these are 400-600 psi motors, they need at least 800 psi packing pressure otherwise they will CATO. This is a non event as pressure makes the nozzle blow out since PVC is quite elastic.
@PeterSripol

Great tips! never thought of roughing up the ID of the tube for the bentonite mix!
Nice camera and edition work men
thats so cool
I knew making stuff this cool your sub's would explode... so glad I was here before the hype
I have played with candy rockets. The best mix (I have found) is 59% potassium nitrate, 29% confectioner's sugar (the kind with corn starch in it) and 2% charcoal. Mix this by weight, not volume. The charcoal works as an accelerant and makes the rocket fire without needing to drill all of the way through it to gain thrust.
Amazing video
Dope.
you know what this reminds me of the Russian flying tank glider
