That's what I saw normally. Ground Power/ APU, then if ignition warm-up, then standby then ignition. RPM increase slowly from 15-45-85. Here i think this one needs ONLY. A boot up like cars

Get a turbine. My dad died when just piston engine decided to quit 300 feet up on approach to his hanger. He would still be alive had he just bought the Robinson turbine

honestly the birds are real nice without doors, especially if its a hot day!

I like these videos. Not sure why you speed up the footage though? Its enjoyable to ride along at normal apeed. If a viewer wants the ride to end quicker, let them speed it up.

This happens to me often, where I get stranded and I get picked up by a Heli. I hate it. I prefer the Prius.

Helicopters scare me when they’re running and be outside. I’ve seen too many videos of people getting hit in the dome with a blade. It’s not pretty. I suppose same could be said about prop planes

Contact the land owner first before departure ask for a permission to land when you arrive ' you can't just suprise a landing not unless you own the place

Twisting the throttle several times before turning on the chopper gives more power or is it among the check list before turning on the chopper for take off

@@curtisaitken7027 I see. Looking at the checklist on Robinson's website indicates that you're correct and the throttle is advanced as many times as necessary to prime the engine. Your terminology confused me but I sense that is what you meant to say.

It's an R22, secondhand those cost the same as a new Camry. And I think he may still live at home, which means he's been able to save for it for years and pay the driving lessons with salary. He's not flying an Augusta here.

I suspect they are friends with people in the area who own parts of the land in the area. He said in a later video that someone owns a bunch of land around town and they're fine with him landing on their fields. Otherwise I don't think in his or any US state you can just land a helicopter that isn't going through an emergency on private property.
