Hello Sir, I am following your videos and you have inspired many people with your gentle and soft spoken nature and your knowledge. I am planning for a new house and i am confused on the following points. It will be very valuable me if you share your suggestion on the following points. 1. Mine is Single storey building 1300 sq ft. 3 bedrooms are planned with one bedroom room in north east (jala moolai). Is it okay to have third bedroom in north east. 2. Selecting red brick or Fly ash brick. I have heard the disadvantage of fly ash bricks are Bonding strength and improper curing. How about the bonding strength of Fly ash brick compared to red brick in your opinion. In my area fly ash brick (8 rupees) cost and red brick cost(7.5 rupees) is almost similar. Which one i can choose?

Hello sir.. we don't have any bonding issues with flyash bricks ... Many residential and commercial buildings been done with flyash bricks .. if there is not much difference in rate in your area between flyash and red clay bricks .. can go with clay bricks itself.. but whatever bricks we use need to know tge size of particular brick we use and ensure the quality of bricks ..

Dear sir, We are using flyash brick for basement and 100mm partition wall, Building outer wall above basement 230mm Red brick wall is advisable. Because the red brick is resist the Heat 3 - 4° reduce.

Its highly recommended to use chicken mesh in all type of Brick and Block works particularly at Wall column joints, beam wall joints.. we also have an option to use fiber net instead of chicken mesh..

Better to use since both made at different times and different circumstances.. the hacking on joint of column may not be proper .. so if chicken mesh used, the probability of crack gets reduced ..

koncham varalam .. if we use cement na vey temp. will rice inside room .. In metros most of Appartments use either flyash or solid block only .. its not a factor to be worried ..

Depends on where we use them ... if its a load bearing wall we can use flyash bricks ... or if it is just a partition wall can go for AAC blocks ...

Is fly ash a single word or two words. 70% of fly ash quota is taken by cement companies, fly ash will not set just by adding water. Hydrated calcium, or calcium sledge is been added for binding, along with 5%/ cement, different power plant uses different coals which might not give enough strength. Fly ash brick & interlock bricks will gradually shrink further. many industries use wet ash which has tiny lumps. well brunt center axial chamber soil bricks is still widely used. Fly ash brick's only advantage is the builders make use of the 90 to 150 days credit facilities. Soil brick is cash and carry.

Coal burnt in thermal powerplants ... then we get flyash as residue/ waste.. there is no way to dispose flyash... we are not burning coal to get flyash..

don’t use this bricks it will produce more heat.

No it not true. We used flyash bricks for full structures in chennai and checked with customers. Even in hot climate in Chennai they don't feel any heat inside the house without AC or fan.

Too much heat pls dont use flyash bricks

Thanks for expressing your feedback ... most important Thing is today in the name of Fly ash brick they are Manufacturing Concrete blocks with minimal addition of flyash (15% and below) and maximum of sludge ... In that case it happens so .. if the Fly Brick is Manufactured with minimum 50% flyash content Definitely the thermal resistant will be similar to red bricks ... will explain in a video ..
