Here's a tip ,use micro tubing on the point of the stinger hook and avoid impaling your fingers over and over.🙂a substitute for laser dub would be sculpin wool. You are getting much better with your tutorials my friend.Well done.I reattach my thread to the eye of the hook and wrap a few turns to secure the helmet before the cement hardens..thanx

I've seen sculpins everywhere but never knew what they are really for.. Pike? Bass? Walleye? Big trout?

Pear Fishing In Switzerland and Sweden they're mainly used for big trout but I am sure a lot of species wouldn't mind such a meal

Alright, why are you not using your Marc Petitjean vise anymore? I thought it gave your video's some class besides the wonderful information. Regal is very common looking and takes away from your videos. I did love the fly though. All the best, Sean

I've been using the regal in the videos I've been doing at work. The Petitjean, I'm using for all my videos done a home, so hopefully 1/2 is going to be with the Petitjean. All the best. Simon

I have a regal that was given to me, I think it is the heavy duty because the vise head has a "V" configuration and I tried a 22 hook in it and half way through tying the hook snapped. It does large sizes well but too strong and narrow at the tip to hold small hooks without cutting through them. I wonder if it has an adjustment? I have my Petitjean and a Nor-vise as well. Love them both for different applications. Wouldn't do without either of them. All the best, Sean
