Any landing you can walk away from is a good one! Balloons are majestic but the landings can be tricky. Those trees were very close.

Yes Ben you are so right. I did remove some twigs and such away before we loaded the basket into the trailer. The land owner was cool too. Rob spent 20 minutes tracking down the farmhouse and apologised and compensated him for roughing up his grass

Hi Neil. That little trip looked fantastic. I've only ever been briefly up and then back down again in a hot air balloon (a 'ride' at a county show). Your video has definitely made want to go for a proper trip in one.

Olly, go for it ! I've flown and jumped out of most things (years ago). It's amazing flying along in silence. Can't wait to do it again.

Cheers My mate. Flying in silence is so odd. But as the balloon is moving with the wind theres no wind. Amazing !

Gday Neil, well you have really help make my mind up about going in a hot air balloon, something I thought about but never had the balls to give it a go, the country side there looked absolutely beautiful, it’s great that you all got to for fill a dream after so many years, thanks for sharing mate, cheers

Matty ! Go for it. Its like no other form of flying. With the exception of the occasional blast from the burner, it is silent. You are travelling with the wind so there's no noise and no sensation of ascending or descending. Totally amazing!!

@@MrFactotum Dont know if my back could take that Kev. But,,,,,, Norris, the old git in the middle is thinking about paragliding out of the basket. Rob, is current to parachute. So I might have to learn to fly balloons because I have a feeling that I might be left there alone one day 😳
